Recording drum tracks for the Primal Fear song "Strike"

- I thought this might be interesting for Primal Fear fans and drum or studio geeks to hear the progression of sound from my "raw camera" 00:00 to 01:04, then direct raw mic signal from 01:04 to 02:37, and finally full CD sound from 02:37 to the end. This was the first session i did with my new Pearl Masters Premium kit to record Primal Fear's "Unbreakable" CD.
Happy New Year 2014! I would like to thank all of you for your support and kind comments. It keeps me motivated to be the best drummer i can be:-) Cheers!

As for Randy Black He’s an Alberta native he was born in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan he grew up here in Edmonton he went to college here for a year and back in the day he use to play at the bars and clubs here he’d lived here until 1993 when he moved to Vancouver to play with Annihilator he’d also live there until 1998 when he moved to Berlin Germany and has lived there ever since I always think about Randy Black here in Edmonton because he grew up here and he is a awesome drummer🤘
I seen Primal Fear live twice in Vancouver at the Venue on May 11th 2014 and at the Rickshaw Theatre on May 9th 2016 Delivering The Black Tour and the Rulebreaker Tour both were great shows and I hope to try see them next year on May 28th with Firewind and Symphony X at The Starlite Room here in Edmonton if not then for sure in 2022🤘
Absolutely love it. Your drumming has inspired me to complete my Tama kit with the remote hi-hat and "attempt" to play Strike. I look forward to seeing Primal Fear either in Atlanta or Rochester this year. Missed seeing Primal Fear all three years I lived in Germany. ROCK ON!

Is it going from the acoustic sound to samples - or is it just the way the mixed the kit?
