    At only 15 I was happy they had the Vertix and RX3 in 60 lbs that I pull LOL... all bow company’s were amazing this year!

    I absolutely love my Vertix but I had similar peep rotation issues with the Zebra strings. I switched to a set of GAS strings and they’ve been absolutely phenomenal. After about 100 shots I made slight peep and timing adjustments and they haven’t moved since.

    I know this video is old. I bought a new left over Vertix cheap! I have a 29.5” draw and the black gold ascent verdict sight. I LOVE the build and bow but i noticed my peep is almost maxed out like yours. Do you find the string angle or etc to be problematic for you?

      I don't have this bow any more, but I don't recall having any issue with the string angle. Perhaps a little bit with the Triax and the sub-30-inch bows, but not so much with the Vertix. Really loved that bow.

      @@Ennis09 Because I'm always testing new bows, I switch all the time. Been playing with my main target bow recently (chasing the far-too-elusive Vegas 300). I've got the Mathews V3X 29 in right now. Compares well to the Vertix. Same general feel, but it's got some new tech that I like.

    Not crazy about the arrow rest feature because of torque tuning. Plus in one of the shops I go to, a gentleman traded his rx-3 in and bought a vertix his draw length was different and the dozen airstrikes he bought was a 1/4 short. So he had to buy a dozen more and they aren't cheap.

    • @ArcheryTalkVideo
      @ArcheryTalkVideo  5 років тому +1

      I've been really happy with the Integrate rest, but I've never done much torque tuning. It's a bummer about his arrows being too short. That's an expensive problem, but Mathews bows tend to run a half-inch long. He can always opt for a shorter module and keep his original arrows.

    • @nathinlynn4090
      @nathinlynn4090 5 років тому

      @@ArcheryTalkVideo he tried that and did some tweaking on the string and cables but it just didn't feel right to him. But not everyone torque tunes. I do because when I'm in a stressful situation like comps and hunting I tend to have tention in my bow hand. There's people that believe and there are people that don't believe in torque tune and I've seen it work with me.

      @@nathinlynn4090 I have no doubt it's a valuable tool. I just haven't given it a chance yet. One day I'll dig in on one of the bows and see what it can do for me.

    How accurate is the draw lenght? Mathews are famous for running a little long. Thk u in advance for your answer.

    In honest opinion which bow did you enjoy shooting more, the vertix or ct3? Both bows seem amazing with different features but which one would you prefer

    • @ArcheryTalkVideo
      @ArcheryTalkVideo  5 років тому +1

      Personally, I prefer the Vertix. I shoot it more consistently than I've ever shot a compact hunting bow - maybe as well as I've shot any hunting bow. I'd put it with the Centergy Hybrid and Carbon Defiant on my short list of favorites. However...the valley is on the short side, which is not for everybody. The nice thing about the CT3 is you can adjust the draw stops and make the valley feel any way you like and the draw cycle is really nice. Plus, Prime's fit and finish on the Logic series takes a back seat to nobody.

    So you think the TAP string stop is better than the one that comes stock on the Vertix?

    • @ArcheryTalkVideo
      @ArcheryTalkVideo  5 років тому +1

      TAP sent some over and I was experimenting. Difference is small, but I feel like it softens the already quiet bow just a bit.

      Thanks for the reply. I had one of their original stabs but sold it with an old bow. I have a Halon 32 now. I may have to pick one up. Thanks again 🤙🏼
