This is without a doubt the most comprehensive colour grading/correction guide I have ever watched and I probably learned more Photoshopping skills in these 23 minutes than ever before. Bravo
This is the best tutorial ever. Simple & really shared what most won't to help future designers improve. I've even learned some keybaord shortcuts through this tutorial. Thank you, you're really appreciated
Buddy, I have learned so much cause of you and I have been doing graphic design in photoshop for 4 years. I was really good at shadows, lights, smoothing the skin, but I still did learn so much and the results in my case are amazing! The thumbnail pops out so much better. Thanks for sharing your way of doing certain things! I knew most of them, but some were new to me.
Hi Man! First time commenting on a youtube video (always a silent viewer). But hey, this tutorial is massive. I done step by step and I really love the output. Keep doing stuff! Good luck always!
I've been doing gaming thumbnails as my full time job for 2 years, and have used PS for many more years than that, but wow there are so many tips in this video I didn't know about. Great job sir
HOLY MOLY!! as of commenting this ive only watched the first 2 minutes but i have already learned so much :D the results you can achieve with just the patch tool is incredible! im gonna binge all of ur stuff now to up my thumbnail game! tysm your incredibly underrated! edit: ive now watched the whole thing, i gave my one a pink hat and pink shirt and it looks awesome!! so many little tips like gradient mapping and inverting masks that i shouldve know :> this video will literally change my ps life lol. earned a sub!
ive been looking for something like this for awhile, this was perfect, ive been using photoshop for years but never took the time to learn all this, thank you!
This is incredible man, thabk you. New creator here and im struggling with my thumbnails pretty bad. I have saved this video and i will be using it for a while until i remember all these steps on my own. Thankfully im not that new to Adobe creative so i love this more advanced techniques here!
Now all the people will start doing the same cartoonish and over exaggerated thumbnail and its gonna be the new normal . Great video and thank you for sharing.
Great tutorial, thanks! You can actually add a dodge and burn layer like so: Alt-click the New Layer icon in the Layers panel; set the mode to Overlay and check Fill With Overlay-neutral color.
Haha yeah I've been sitting on this for months too, only just got around to doing it. It's the most basic part of making thumbnails so it's definitely the go-to idea for a tutorial. I appreciate you, thanks man
Well done! These are definitely pro tips. Would love to see a follow up tutorial where you show how to save at least some of these steps as presets, if possible.
Great tutorial mate, any reason why when I add the Eye Whites layer, everything apart from my eye whites brighten up? Which means when I go back over with the white brush there's no change in colour
Hello dodge and burn aren’t necessarily destructive you can add a layer on top which is 50% gray and blend mode overlay and than make your dodge and burn effect reversible
Awesome tutorial! Just tried this out on my next thumbnail and it makes a huge difference. Really helpful in learning some of the in-depth features of Photoshop, especially for creators like myself who have little experience with it. Thank you!
Can you make a video on how to create scenarios, scenes, panorama, landscape views on photoshop by combining multiple images together the way Matthew Beem does, MrBeast, Airrack, etc? Thank you!
That’s general photo manipulation which is a pretty broad technique I couldn’t cover in one video, but I can maybe do a breakdown of some scenes and go into the photo manipulation techniques behind them?
Really great tutorial! 10 likes! At the same time I realize the implication is that the world (or at least UA-cam thumbnails) are getting less and less realistic and more and more dramatic 😅
...so I guess it ain't just Cosmo models getting airbrushed. Not sure I understand the rationale for so much retouching but I appreciate your skill-and a very thorough tutorial.
18:07 Can someone explain the sharpen? Why is he deleting the photo layer that... looked fine and he taught earlier, Why group, and if I did not start with a smart object... how would I group my layers to add this last step?
I dont use myself in my thumbnails (at least not yet) but this was really good and you made me understand how filters really work in this program. Thank you❤
This is without a doubt the most comprehensive colour grading/correction guide I have ever watched and I probably learned more Photoshopping skills in these 23 minutes than ever before. Bravo
