Congratulations on your new additions! Josefina: Josefina’s loom was available from 1998-2012. The booklet would indicate that it is earlier in that time period. It is a Navajo style (vertically standing) loom. Be careful of the warp (vertical yarn on the loom). The age makes it more fragile. I would look up how to learn to weave on a sheet of cardboard before working with Josefina’s loom. Josefina’s birthday dress had a separate accessory set called “Heirloom Accessories”. The heirloom accessories had the shawl, the black fan, and a necklace. I don’t know why the necklace was not included with the recent re-release.
@@TrobertABQ thanks for the hot tip on the loom! I do think practicing on cardboard would reduce the likelihood that I damage it 😭 and I would have loved if they would have released the heirloom accessories this year as well- they really bring together the whole outfit!
@@FixMyAGDoll it always is!! Off topic question: Do you know if Samantha’s middy outfit washes okay? Any tips for making it whiter? I just bought it second hand and the hat is so dirty 😞
@@heather5653 yes! But they included shoes in Kirsten's and Addys that weren't originally included, so I'm like, why not add a little special piece to Josefina's too!? Or at least release them as additional options because they're so pretty!
Fantastic find - Josefina's clothes are in such beautiful muted colours. I love her and have many of her things including jer loom, - but not the two expensive outfits. You were very lucky.
You got a great deal on just the outfits. OMG great items I have some of them and some of the Josefina items are on my wish list. The night stand and the camisas for the weaving outfit is on my list
wow great score! Really like Josephina's collection a lot. My doll collecting friend says to put smelly stuff in a closed plastic tub with a bar of green Irish Spring deodorant soap (not touching items) for as long as needed. She had gotten a collection of stinky cigarette smoke dolls and the soap did really well. I don't know how long it took but worth giving it a try if all else fails. JoAnn's sells a descent mini iron that is great for doll clothes.
@@buffmontana4203 I may try out the Irish soap if the smell isn't out after a few more weeks- so far airing out has worked well! And I have a steamer for my doll clothes, I just didn't steam for this video because the clothes were just going to get wrinkly again in storage 😅 thanks for the rec tho!
What a great haul and for such a good deal. I have that yellow tasseled scarf but I don’t have her Birthday outfit. I didn’t realize it went together. Thank you! Body doner. Too funny!😂 They all look so pretty in the outfits!

Just thought I'd let you know someone is selling her Christmas shoes for $15 on eBay...not sure of the condition or what you'd want to pay, but just thought I'd let you know. I searched for American Girl Josefina Shoes.
@@tirzahmyers3392 I had read that people have done it, but I don't because washing machines can be quite tough on doll clothes and I don't want to risk them getting damaged
You hit the jackpot on Josefina! I would do anything to have her stuff
@@jaceylowieta I feel so lucky to have made this score! Sending the good luck your way 💕
I cannot believe you got all that for $100! Deal of the decade.
@@catdogmom155 truly!! I was so stunned 😭
Great find. AG will not do moldy or musty dolls. So you have to do it yourself.
@@dollmom3597 really!? I didn't know that! That's pretty disappointing.
