I don’t think my house could have handled two weeks… 😂 On their last day, their dog, who I love, took a part of McKenzie’s play house and was running around our backyard. He would run super far away, stop, and chew on it, so I’d have to chase after him. I ended up stepping in “you know what” during chasing him, didn’t realize it, and proceeded to walk inside. I’m still recovering, but honestly I can’t wait for them to come back. So weird, right?! 😂

HI Brandy! Happy New Year! Your son decluttering was so cute! As far as the lanterns go, I've always struggled with those a bit. Do they have a second one in a different size that you could add and maybe put a plant next to them and candles inside? Could be worth trying anyway. Can't wait for your declutter and room makeover videos!
Thank you so much! I never pushed decluttering on him, so I’m SO glad he has come around to it! He’s my kid that keeps empty boxes for years. Adding a second lantern is such a good idea! I need to see if they still have the larger lantern. I can’t believe I didn’t think of that when I was standing in front of them, while they were fully stocked… 🥲 Thank you!!!

I have been waiting a lifetime for that moment 😂 He hangs on to everything. Literally, everything! My heart is still so incredibly happy that he has come around to decluttering.
I don’t have an extra inch of space on my countertops. My kitchen is small. And it’s a galley kitchen. So every available space has something on it. I thought about getting a new coffee maker. But I don’t have room. I guess I could put my bread box in my pantry . But it’s not really convenient for me. I have my seventeen year old granddaughter staying with us. And my oldest granddaughter, her boyfriend and my great grandson are coming in a few weeks. We live in a small house. I’m not sure where we’re going to put everyone. I had no idea there was a Babyland Hospital in Georgia. I live in Georgia. But it’s two hours from me. Maybe someday I will take some of my younger granddaughters there. I still have my tree up. And I’m tired of it. But the totes all my Christmas decor goes in are in our shed. And I haven’t gotten them in. My husband says he’s cleaning the shed. So I have to keep the totes in the hallway. I’m trying to decide if it’s worth it.
My mom stores her bread in an upper cabinet near the toaster. I wonder if that could help! Having people come and visit/stay is definitely tough. It really does take a lot of effort and energy! I’m still recovering from my guests 🥲 Babyland was so very cute! Definitely pricey, but it was a fun experience!

I completely agree! I feel like everything cabinet wise is so full, making it hard to put anything away. A massive declutter is on my to-do list!
