Just wanted to give ya'll a shout out for making one for the JK! I've been patiently waiting and it's finally here. Packaging is superb and shipping was quick. Man let me tell you guys, this bracket is BEEFY! Thanks again for keeping us JK owners in mind!
I just finished installing mine. A rubber mallet is not necessary for install if you leave the steering box bolts slightly loose when you install the bearing. Doing this I was able to get the bearing on without a hammer. I then installed the bolts that hold the bearing to the brace fingertight. After tightening the frame bolts I went back and tightened the bearing bolts. This kit does make a night-and-day difference, I can finally track straight down the road and not constantly have to correct the wheel. I have 35 in tires on a 3 in teraflex lift and I use the teraflex HD front track bar and I had no fitment issues.
Got a replacement nut, this one still not goes as smooth as the one in the video. Called Chris and he said, due to the coating it might be tight. If it goes in a few turns then just use socket and a wrench to tight it. What a great upgrade, the steering wheel is much tighter when rolling, can't wait to drive more.
Haven’t seen any issues at this point. Also, we have seen a number of people running our track bar with their brace and have no issues. We’ve never tested it ourselves but from the feedback we’ve gotten there isn’t an issue. In regards to our race with other track bars, if it comes to light that there is a fitment issue we will be sure to update the information section on the product webpage.
@@SteerSmartsI get unless it's stock, no set up is the same. Unfortunately the my Teraflex HD track bar touches the sector shaft brace just sitting on the ground. I also have 3.5" lift, Artec raised track bar bracket and their flipped drag link. For now I'll have to take of the sector shaft brace. Which is unfortunate because that was the biggest reason for buying it.

That can happen because you’re disconnecting both the track bar and the steering box from the frame when you go to attach the bracket. Simply rotate the drag link adjuster one way or the other to get your steering wheel back to center.
We were on a bit of a time crunch and this was an employee jeep - he had just been to an OFFROAD park and was heading to one right after this was completed, so we didn’t spend the time cleaning it

If I was to install a PSC Big Bore Steering box would I run into any issues?
We have a new big bore box kit for this coming out soon - should have them ready to sell near the end of the month or just after.

So this video is a year old. What's the purpose of this bracket?
Does this kit have clearance issues with other (aftermarket) trackbars? I hear the synergy kit will contact your trackbar at full stuff.
I don’t think it has the same issue. The Synergy has a bolt which is in a weird place and can rub the TB.

My track bar doesn’t work with the steering brace.
