I played the original Assassin creed game a lot , it takes place in 1191 and the game takes a few liberties With historical facts. But you met historical chracters in the game like Richard the Lionheart ... But I recodnize the citadel of hospitalers . Because in the game you infiltrade the citadel to assasinate the grandmaster Garnier de la Naplus. You basicly assassinate targets on both sides on the conflict (Christian and muslim ) . So yes that place I have seen before . Also when I recodnized the port . In the game you infiltrade that to assassinate a guy called Called Sigbrand. The grandmaster of teutonic knight ( the version in the is based on another historical person person. But game version is fictional) . And you also infiltrade the castle in Acre to assassinate William of monfarat (Conrads of monfarats father) . But the developers got the medevil City of Acre Right.... Also in the game. Many areas od medevil Acre in ruins . As it takes place shortly after Richards concuqest of Acre. Even the executions of 2700 muslim prisoners, that Richard ordered after the city’s fall. That is also mentioned in the game ... And also many modern fictional Robin Hood stories has Robin Hood bring present at that event(because in many stories Robin was originaly a Crusader in Richard’s Army . But they always have Robin being disgusted by executions . And that event always are presented as of reasons Robin leaves the crusader army and goes to home to become the famous outlaw of sherwood forrest. I have always been a huge Robin Hood fan . So I have read many fictional stories about him . But also I read works by historians /seen historical documentaries about the Robin Hood legend.... .So thank for an awesome video ...
