Truly fantastic video, love the music and the balance of speaking and showing the sights , you have an incredible talent for making the travel experience so authentic for the viewer!!! Thank you 🙏 ❤☮️
Hi Gabriel, that was amazing those Templar tunnels were used to bring gold in from the shore without being seen the harbor had an incredible fortress to defend the city and of course, they built many castle forts in and around Europe and the Middle East there is one near you Belvoir Castle located in Belvoir National Park. A critical port to the Mediterranean Sea where the Crusaders made their way around Europe and the Middle East.
Those walkways alone are special. The age and history - imagine the thousands of people who have walked those stone streets... That was actually my favorite part of the Louvre when I lived in Paris: the steps leading up to the victory statue. There was this indentation in the stone from the amount of people who have walked up and down those steps. I've never forgotten that feeling. Templar history is so fascinating and the church is breathtaking. I really want to visit this city now that you've shared all of the Crusader history.
When i saw you crawling to the tunnel i remebered the Hiskia tunnel i walked through in jersualem. It is an old water tunnel from 800 b.c and over 500m long. When you google it the most pictures show a dry tunnel, but when i visited it the water breast high and one of my smaller companion has to swim over 100m. It was very refreshing on this hot summer day. It had rained a few days earlier so the tunnel has more water than usual. So when you next time in jerusalem this tunnel is something that´s fits perfect in your fascination for caves and tunnels.
Wow. The parts where you're walking with only background music are off the charts Gabe. The music is just as beautiful as the scenery. Always my favorite parts of your videos. Hanin and Djin, what gorgeous pieces of music. I have seen your editing grow SO much. Meow. Stafe safe
Gabe, not sure if you’ve been thier, I’m sure you have as you love Greece and all it’s isles, but old city of Akko reminds me a lot of Rhodes and it’s old city, both very well preserved, loads to see and breathtaking.
Akko is so very splendid to see such colorful artwork to brighten the alleyways. That tunnel was amazing. The ⛪️ is so charming with such history. Thanks for the great tour as usual, always brightens my day.😊❤
Fascinating history there and apparently friendly people too !! the whole Israel is one of the most interesting places on earth, if not the most interesting one. Thank you Gabe and great background music!!✨✌
Akko surpasses expectations, the Crusade's Citadel & gardens was amazing. Gives one a visual to just reading about the journey of the Crusades. I think Akko is where Richard the Lionheart & Saladin met.
My favourite trip has to be Jordan, Amman, Dead Sea, Roman city of Jerash, magnificient orange desert of Wadi Rum, magic old city of Petra to Aqaba Port on the Red sea. So much to see!
Hi Gabriel you have a very interesting life, thank you for sharing your fascinating journeys, looking forward to the next one. This is more positive of what we see in the news.
Another Awesome Adventure Gabriel through the streets of AKKO ISRAEL seeing everyday life that we would not normally see Thank You 🙂 Watching from New Brunswick CANADA🙂
You know Gabe is an experienced traveller when he points out the headache that you have to deal with on the OUTBOUND flight at Ben Gurion. First time I went to Israel as an Asian American they let me in with no questions asked when I landed. So I thought to myself, hmm that's peculiar, especially since I have tons of stamps from Muslim countries. I didn't realize it would be so easy to get into Israel. Fast forward a week later, when I went to Ben Gurion to catch my flight to London, EVERYBODY is grilled thoroughly, even local Israelis! I was interrogated so thoroughly and they went page by page in my passport to ask me why I went to all of these Muslim countries and who I knew there. Then full body scan and swabbing of all of my belongings. It's the OUTBOUND flight you have to prepare for in Israel.
Strangely, I had no issues entering or leaving Israel. I was prepared for an interrogation before catching my flight out but it was super smooth, just a few basic questions. Fine with me.
Thanks Gabriel for showing more of this fascinating city loved the history and how beautiful it was. Never thought of this as a travel destination. I have a friend who lives in Tel Aviv so you never know I may get still get there. 😊❤
Awesome video Gabriel.. You’re walking in the footsteps of history in Acre. What a interesting time it would have being during the templars. Safe Travels.. Next country is it Cyprus???
This is the first time i have seen Akko . Its very intriguing . I was watching a vid on the Chapel at Rosslyn Edinburgh . I have been a couple of times in the past when they were working on it. It too is connected to the Templars. I find it interesting all the travelling done in those days to distant lands and the history. thanks for sharing:)
You're much better off taking the train to Tel Aviv and/or the airport. Road traffic is terrible and might be blocked for a demonstration, plus there is NO place to park in TA.

Wait, Gabe, I thought you were going to Georgia next (or maybe Azerbaijan) but then you said you would be swimming in the Med "in the place you're going next"? Do you mean the place you're going next in the car that day, or the place you're flying to from Tel Aviv? If it's the latter (and assuming it's non-Schengen), would that mean Tunisia? If so, you must get to Matmata as you love caves.
He mentioned the 5th century right then and people who built the original church in that spot, so that was probably the Byzantines who settled in Israel, long before the crusades.
