I've been wanting to see a simple video on this subject, so thanks for producing it! I have a bit and will try it out on the weekend... first, off I go to see if I can get this gadget for Vcarve Pro - I'm pretty certain I can. Thanks again!!!
You can actually just type a short Gcode to do keyhole toolpaths in a fraction of the time it takes to mess with the software. If you would like to see that, let me know and I can show it very easily.
Thanks very helpful 👍 😀
Super cool keyhole video. 6:16 was cool to watch the cnc do the two parts.
Thanks

Glad to help!

Very interesting. Keep these coming out. Looking to get a CNC and or Laser soon. So all these tips will be handy.
Stay tuned, I have entry level CNCs and lasers on the way (shhh). So videos will be coming.

Why not just get a plunge keyhole bit? Takes me 3 seconds to cut with mine without having to do the pocket first. Also cuts out steps.
I'll have to look into it. That sounds like a great option!
