4:46 I don't know about that species, but my experience with a lot of lizards has been that even if you brush against their tail they still might eject it as it flops about for a while. Imagine just walking and suddenly a lizard tail hits you in the face.
I love how coyote still thinks about the safety of the animal. If i was being bitten by an army ant, i would've smushed it right away :)

coyote is so genuinely excited by the work he does, it's so fun to see someone with such unbridled joy. it's also kind of refreshing to see a manly man talking about how cute stuff is, because it makes me feel sort of validated for calling everything cute. i love how he's interested in bugs and stuff and then he's like 'come on, lets go find some reptiles'. my man is always on the hunt for a lizard to hold.

For the most part, I know that (most) Cockroaches can't really hurt me, but there is just something about those specific insects that trigger something subconscious within most of us that usually ends up in a lot of screaming and a stain on the wall. Years ago, while on a river barge in Thailand without electricity for a night, I decided to sleep shirtless due to the heat. I was under a mosquito net but I woke up three o'clock in the morning due to some sensation on my bare chest. It was a roach. I didn't even know that I could make a bloodcurdling scream two octaves higher than my Mariah Carey impression. After waking up my roommate (who thought that I was being attacked) we went on an epic quest to vanquish the beast with nothing but a pair of sandals as weapons and a kerosene lamp for lighting and eventually ended up trapping the bug between the footwear and catapulting the fiend into the murky depths of the River Kwai.
