Suing for wrongful arrest is not only premature but fruitless. All the arresting officers have to prove is that they had reasonable cause and a lot of people looking at the case from a distance STILL suspect him. The mere finding of her body does not absolve him at all. In fact it could provide evidence that further incriminates him. Even a conviction of a different person does not give him room for a lawsuit. Again all the arresting agency needs to prove is that they had a case for an arrest not an airtight case for a courtroom. They could file a counter suit.

They have tons of evidence but ultimately decided they need her body to convict for 1st degree murder. He's so arrogant he thought he got away with it. Poetic that they find her remains (accidently) the same year he tries to sue prosecutors.

You would think that you would hope they find the killer and Suzanne gets justice. Seems you’ve already made up your mind who did it. Confirmation bias is unhealthy. If the husband did do it, then he’ll get what he deserves. Let’s not forget. She was cheating on him. There was male DNA found in her vehicle. And his (husband’s) vehicle was tracked through his gps on his truck and he never drove south. He drove north. Not saying he’s innocent. And a lot of the time the spouse is responsible in these cases. Let’s just wait and see what the evidence has to say.

It hasn’t been proven that he did. Clearly, the body wasn’t where police thought it would be, so a lot doesn’t add up in this case. In fact, she may have been trying to kill him and got caught up with the wrong hitman. She is the one who wanted the divorce, after all. That’s usually the killer.

I don't understand why you called her daughters ungrateful. That's still their dad. No matter if he killed her or not. I'm hoping Barry didn't have anything to do with it. The girls didn't seem to ever look for their mom or do or say anything about her but they were extremely quick to go public to defend their dad. Yes I get that he's their dad, I'm not expecting them to not defend him. I'm just wondering why they didn't do the same for their mom? I still don't understand why the DNA found in Susans car from someone who"s DNA is connected to three other SA cases was not presented by the prosecuting attorney's office before Barry's trial. If there was a rapist's DNA in her car, why hasn't this been investigated? Who is this person? The police need to find him so they can move on with this case.
They know exactly whose DNA it is and he's not involved. The dna was from the guys brother who worked on the car. It was only a partial match. Then they were able to narrow it down to the brother.

I am curious what investigations actually WERE looking for when they came across her remains. Which agency was doing a search and for which case? Were they specifically looking for something related to the Morphew case or was this another investigation entirely?

One of the first news reports I watched said that another woman had been found, as well as Suzanne, but that information was not confirmed. That would certainly put a different slant on things......two women in the same area? Serial killer?

About the same time she disappeared, was when the Love Has Won cult went off to Hawaii. They had houses in both Moffat and Salida.
In many of the pictures, Suzanne bears an uncanny resemblance to Amy Carlson.
Fyi, where her body was found, it would be incredibly easy for someone to pull off to the side of the road at night and not attract notice.
I don't think a flashlight would even be visible from where anyone lives, and you can see headlights miles away. (I'm local, already had where it was pointed out to me.)
The soil here is very alkaline, so there is probably not much left. Reports I've seen say the remains were scattered, I'm guessing coyotes, as there are a lot of them here. Or vultures, we have them too. Saw one with probably a 6 foot wingspan about 2 weeks ago.

I just finished watching this case on 48 hours and I believe it's her husband or someone else who there are saying is some how linked to two other murder case I will not be shocked if it's her husband because they evidence that they have points to him.

JonBenet was found dead in BOULDER, Colorado, in DEC. 1996. The Boulder police department worked that case. Suzanne Morphew disappeared in MAY 2020, from SALIDA, Colorado. I think the Chaffee County, Colorado, sheriff's office is leading Suzanne's case. 2 DIFFERENT Colorado law enforcement entities investigating during different time periods.

Yes. The bike and helmet were found within a couple of miles of the Morphews' Salida, Colorado, home. Suzanne's remains were found in Moffat, Colorado, 45 miles from Salida. BTW, Suzanne never went on a bike ride. The bike and helmet were tossed in those places by her killer.
