Appreciate the review as these just recently popped up on my radar. Gonna pass for now, as I found the Nano 2.0 too minimalist for me. Still rocking the Dropset 2's though. 😁 (They're great, but not for any type of running, I've found.) Keep up the great work!
Oh yeah, Dropset ain't your hybrid shoe, lol. They're fine for sprints and 400-m bouts...but I wouldn't run much more in them. Glad you're liking them!
Hi Jake. What exercises are you doing for you rehab? Any chance of a video as there seems to be quite a few of us out there suffering with quad tendinitis at the moment. Great first impressions vid and I’m looking forward to the follow up on these shoes 👍🏻
A bunch! I can share a video on this. I actually started to film one the other day then stopped because I got in my head and was telling myself, "Who the ef cares? You're wasting your time filming this." but maybe I'll revisit the topic this weekend!
Same with the Quad strain, I had a calf tear in the same leg earlier this year. Freaking hard to make progress. Now I have tendinitis in both elbows. Can’t win.
Dang. Sorry to hear that, friend. Injuries are so annoying! We just have to make due and work around em'. I get the helpless feeling, though. However, we're all working around stuff/in it together - you got this!
@@thatfitfriend any nuggets on dealing with tendinitis. Been dry needling the quad and elbows. But that tendinitis is just flared up. You seem to be doing a lot of barbell work, so I thought you might have some remedies.
Ordered my pair! Can't wait! Wasn't a huge fan of how the Nano 2.0 looked so passed on those... but the BP looks dope! Gives me Haze Trainer vibes.. Minimalist shoes for gym are my jam!
I hear you, but I mean…they’re not trying to be a barefoot shoe or marketed as so, lol. It’s not like a minimus or Altra that have elements of being “barefoot-esque”. Plus, zero drop is individual and most folks don’t necessarily resonate with that drop with their training shoes and there are other options out there if they do 🤷🏼♂️
I agree, so for me still not competition with the VIVOBAREFOOT MOTUS STRENGTH, they are still the best barefoot shoes for training as for today @@thatfitfriend

Love these so far, 3 workouts in. First non-nano 2.0 shoe I have used in the last 5 years. I do have the same pinching at the tongue but it is improving. Only thing I may be worried about would be rope climbs.
Same. I'm going to program climbs for most of my sessions over the next few weeks to see how the upper holds up! Glad I'm not the only one that had the tongue issue!
I’m looking for more shoes that are similar to the Reebok nano 2.0’s. I really like the minimal heel to tow drop, the wide tow box, and the stiffer mid sole for heavy lifts. Other than this shoe, are there any others that remind you of the nano 2.0?

Go 9.5 in these!

Great as always 👌

I'm buying these today. I want those red white and blue ones
Let me know how you like them
@@thatfitfriend the red white and blue ones are sold out. :(
Hey Jake! Thanks for the video! In comparison with nano 2.0, which would you say is wider?
Good question. The Nano 2.0 feels a little more round at the end of the toe box, but I'd say the BP is a tad wider throughout.

Go 9.5 in these, too!
Honestly train barefoot at home mostly but these are easily the most interesting non-barefoot shoes on the market for me.
I can see that. They're less over-engineered so for your preferences they'd prob align well!
The tongue hurts. Really cool shoe and very light but the tongue has no padding it cuts into my ankle.
That is the one design flaw with these. Have you tried using some crew socks with them?
@ I haven’t. I returned them. I tried it with no socks then with short skinny socks then to some thicker socks and it still was cutting into my leg.

Why isn't it ZERO drop?! I think if it was ZERO drop, it could be really really good for guys that love a more "barefoot" shoes

add some mole skin to the tongue
What about the skin from my enemies?

Their customer service sucks. Be careful buying from them. They will do everything possible to keep you from returning their product.
