Very well done tutorial, many people actually make videos such as this one and sell them, you are a very nice guy. (I love copy and paste).

Thanks Enrique! Trying to put some stuff out in the universe! Plus, it was practice for class I’m teaching at Kenmore Camera 😎

Is there no way to have one EV step down and another up from middle exposure for exposure bracket. For example from 1/160 (3 values in between) 1/2500 (3 values in between) 1/180000. In total 9 exposures. In ideal i would take 3 sample light meter measurements from shadows, from middle or sky and last from sun, lamp or specular reflection. If it could generate best exposure bracket from that, or would the DR bracket 800+ do something similar?

Hi! I'm not sure I understand your question. Sorry! I know you can create brackets with up to 9 photos (4 photos plus exposure, 0, 4 photos minus exposure) with the steps of light change being up to 3 stops per image. I have mine set to a 5 photo bracket, with 2 stops between each image. Hope that helps!

Hi, I have a very specific question and would like your advice. I have done extensive research but I am still confused. Are the 7 Q Button setups overlapped with the 7 Custom Modes (C1-C7)? what are their differences? What is the point to set 2 sets of custom settings? When I use my XT-4, I set the Q Buttons. But, I am now confused.

Hi! Thanks for this question. The "Q" menu tiles accessed by clicking on the "Q" button on the back of the camera are different than the Custom modes C1-7 on the X-H2/S. The "Q" menu is for "quick" items you might want to change frequently. These are single settings that can be accessed quickly from the 4-16 tiles on this page. The Customs Modes are very different. They can store EVERY setting you choose, such as image quality, autofocus, drive mode, etc... So "Q" for quick changes to single, specified settings and Custom Mode for quick change to all settings for a photo session. Hope that helps!
