@@BERNARDO712 you are wrong with all of these. 1) Some people tend to discriminate North vs. South. Yes, there are a few and they are the minority, and don't represent at all the nation, neither spirit of unity of Italy neither the spirit of our roman ancestors. I am southern italian by the way. 2) Balotelly is being hated because he never behaved like a professional, not because of skin colour. The same happened with other talented players, like Cassano, which behaved in a immature way.

@@mosijahi3096 You can ever suspect in the world. Your opinion, who am I to judge.
But I can report you what happened between 2020 and 2021 specifically: Jacobs went to therapy to cope with his childhood trauma, since his dad from Texas abandoned him and his mom when he was just a small baby.
He basically grew up without a father figure, which is why he is so close to his coach - since he started his career in the long jump.
Since then he has been able to overcome that and to get over it, which relieved him from great pressure and mental fatigue, according to his own words.
Since then he has been steadily improving and he looks calm during the races.
His technique also got perfected with a new training protocol developed by his coach and the Italian Athletics team (running without wind influence to maintain his form and get the basics right to perfection).
Since then his form looks impeccable and he doesn't have the massive flaws he had before (shoulders moving left and right, dipping way before the end).
His start is also much better, since he switched from the traditional Italian start technique to the one his coach and him organized based on his strengths (high knees, steady drive phase).

Technically Bolt ran a starting 60m of 6.31s in his 100m WR. It would rank him the second all time.
But it was outdoors and in another race.
Technically he is too tall to be composed, which is why you saw him lose form more often than not.
Can extraordinary tall athletes maintain firm? Yes, but sex matters. Miller-Uibo is another incredibly high runner, but she is a woman, meaning that her incredible height of 1.85m is "only" the same as Jacobs, and as we saw, his form is impeccable.

When guys run +10sec, and then within a year, cut down to a 9.8, you gotta wonder bout where the difference came from. Bolt was a 10sec guy, but he was a teenager at the time. So the maturity may have been the difference between 10sec and 9.5. But I still have that niggling feeling that it’s ped’s…

Jacobs was a long jumper until 2018. Never trained for sprinting until 2018. Then as soon as he started, he was so rough, that the improvement margins are huge as long as you train well and acquire good technique (which he undeniably has).
Then covid came less than 2 years after he s switched to sprinting.
In 2019 he was already close to 10sec flat. Then in early 2021 he did 9:95.
And now he is keep improving as he train regularly and focus exclusively on sprinting
      It’s totally understandable
