I can't believe no survival game has borrowed the wood chopping sound/feel from New World. It's the most satisfying thing to do in that game.

Enshrouded tho is very close to the fantasy open world sandbox rpg i have always wanted. The voxal technology is also just beautiful and very versatile. Not to mention most these games are also reasonably priced and not $70 or even $60(BD3 might, idk i bought that game in early access day one).
Really feels like we are in a new era of great and fun games

Magic boxes from the Carpenter add the pull-to-craft option, and bags from the Hunter add more inventory slots. I’ve learned that most of the things I felt were missing ended up making an appearance soon after.
Enshrouded has a really good framework for the devs to build on and I'm looking forward to see what they add.
It's got good bones!
Get further in and unlock the huntress, get the piece of kit for her that lets you get dried berries and dried fur (salt + animal fur), it'll unlock a small backpack enhancer and better glider so you'll eventually get more backpack slots.
I was eyeing this game since it's free trial and watched a few people but it was terribly optimised so I didn't expect much out of it. Got it after release and boy am I hooked in as a battlemage. Wand, Sword/Ward and a staff with an eternal spell, base building, farming, gliding, hits all the spots
Yo, I don't know why, but just got the feeling you'd LOVE Outward. Ever play it? Probably the most fun I've ever had as a Battlemage.

@@TheNightman. Yeah, it's a bit more on the hardcore side. If ya die you'll get abducted by bandits, or drug to an insect lair, or a gaurd'll bring ya to town. But just prepare n youll be good. Mixed makes sense tho, ppl either love it or hate it, no inbetween. xD

I grinded for warden armor and it sucked all the fun out of the game i made it and uninstalled

@@Jaywin228 it is grindy asf you need like 4000+ flax and need to wait for like 5hours to make everything you need for the full set
Later on you can craft magic storage crates (once you get the carpenter) those allow you to craft without having to drag things out of your inventory. Also bacpack expansions are a thing, and so are skill tree things like double jump and 'blink' evasion as well as combat skills. I had a similar reaction like you but turns out alot of the things i missed just come later on

How? There's not even a good 20 minutes of gameplay video for light no fire to know much about it.

The world is massive
Enshrouded is actually really good and it gets better the more you progress.
Corn is one of the foods I've ever eaten.
You can craft with items in your chest. They just made it a craftable item which kind sucks but is what it is

For me it’s the sense of exploration, the world is absolutely massive and interesting to explore.
All the other elements of the game are great too, they compliment the exploration
@@SilentSeventh Oh, so it actually does make ya *really* wanna peek behind every corner? Haven't had that since.. Sekiro maybe. Hard to find these days. Just felt a bit bare bones for me for whatever reason. That and its aethstetic. TT_TT
I was hoping for some RNG on the equipments, something like diablo or Poe on equipments. It would be a nice touch because it would push me to keep exploring and looking for equipments even if I already own them as it would make every equipment unique and would add tiers of rarity to them.

Do you see yourself spending more time in Enshrouded or Palworld since playing both? Which feels more polished in your opinion?
Palworld is straight up fun to play, as for Enshrouded it's much more polish in terms of quality and gameplay
I got both enshrouded and palworld, currently enshrouded came out 4 days later but ,
palworld : 37 hours
enshrouded: 62 hours
and im like halfway enshrouded world progression, palworld I reached lvl 42 and quit for enshrouded xD. enshrouded is def way more polished and intricate
I’m 2 hours into Palworld and 22 into enshrouded.
Enshrouded has hooked me in from the beginning and that’s what i’ll continue playing
I think, even though palworld is a good fun game, many people won't play it longer than 2 weeks- a month.
I notice myself my enthousiasm to play it is a lot less a week in.

Magic chests allow you to pull resources from anywhere on your base, normal chests do not

palworld is very noticeable be in EA, enshroud feels finished, except for the cut content

@@kewa_design the best describe is perhaps if you are into dark souls/elden ring like, home builder type, terraforming like minecraft, skyrim-like skill depth, and medieval fantasy then you go on Enshrouded. And if you are into Ark/Conan exiles or rimworld like, monster taming/collecting, pokemon, automatons and BOTW artstyle(with semi realism), then you go with Palworld. Both has dungeons, multiplayer coop, and survival elements
Oh yea both are Early Access but seems enshrouded was pretty much released at the wrong time
I play both. One day it's Palworld, the other day it's Enshrouded.

Honestly I find valheim to be more polished. Sure this game’s graphics are more conventionally high fidelity, but I still find Valheim more beautiful. This game looks nice, but it doesn’t outdo other games fantasy visuals like Elden Ring or Zelda. And while Valheim may be low poly, it leans into it and as a result it looks amazing. Also I think moment to moment gameplay has far less jank, and more reward in valheim.
