Did you guys know that here in brasil, "pal" has the same pronunciation of "pau", and "pau", translated to english is "dick"... so we having a lot fun saying like we gona catch a lot of paus 😊

The Game is more about what would happen if pals would live in our world. Not just like haha Pikachu with guns.

Crazy how nobody else did this before. Pokemon is still super limited and stuck in the past. Ark straight up doesn't work in a multitude of ways and most people still can't play it. BOTW is amazing but nobody is sick of that type of traversal and exploration. Sometimes all you need is someone to actually make a game work for people to like it.

I got this as my birthday present, and I can't stop playing it, it just... So fun to play! The cuteness and how variety the world are. Even the guns and dungeon and the boss... This probably my first favorite game of this year.

This game has a hilarious side here in Brazil that helped the hype even more, in Portuguese "pal" or "pau" also means coc* or dic*, and they kept all in the translation as pals, so when NPCs/ items or anything refers to pal. Like the first one you talk to that says "You don't smell like pal" or things like pal fluid, mounting on pals, and anything for that matter we can't help but laugh. But the game is really fun, I'm having a blast too :D

Despite its flaws (it’s in beta) I’m really enjoying this game.
Never would have thought collecting off brand Pokémon and eating… questionable sources of meat would be my thing.
But it is.
Palworld the craziest Indie Game with Guns,Slavery,and Monster Taming! Not to mention it is helping the Monster Taming Genre to.
Just an FYI for everyone interested, it is on Gamepass however that version is apparently 3-6 months behind the Steam version. Looks like Jayvee is playing the Gamepass version based on the version number, but the Steam version seems to be a little less buggy and has some changes to the progression that seem to be for the better. No idea why the versions are mis-matched, possibly something to do with update certification process on Xbox.

It’s so fucking good, I was watching a stream of someone playing it and decided to buy it for fun, it’s so immersive, the moment you start playing the game sucks you in, it’s really good
The game has so much potential hopefully they put some solid work into it. Half the map is not even made yet sonthere gonna be new areas and new pals. Plus the story system that will be added to it
I'm loving it. First prince of Persia and now this. 2024 off to a good start for gaming
PalWorld is so much fun. You really are limited by your imagination. And for a survival sandbox game it isn't overly punishing, making it fun and inviting for gamers new to the genre
It does take inspiration from many other games and genres but blends them so well. It flows together in an enjoyable monster catching time.
Also if anyone is interested in any tips lmk or post some that you have

there are different things in this version to the release version. Incubator for example is only unlockable with the purple special stuff
Im glad you said you would be honest, because that is kind of your job, to review the game and tell us how you feel, so yea, i speak for most of us when i say, honesty is the best way to go about it
It is pretty fun so far for me. The AI for the pals assigned to the base is fairly impressive in that it will prioritize the tasks that each pal is best at. Love what I have played so far, I can only hope that the developers continue to improve because what they have right now in early access is extremely promising.
Game is amazing I can't wait till after work to play more love building base and getting things done, exciting seeing new plas in new places

There is a dodge button with I-frames to make the person combat a bit more active. Ctrl on keyboard by default, unsure what is is on controller.

I love Valheim, Minecraft, Terraria, No Man's Sky, Subnautica etc. Not really a Pokemon fan. Might I enjoy this game?

I’m just a bit too old to have been part of the Pokémon craze, but this game is pretty good. It’s in beta, so there’s some quirks and flaws, but definitely worth a shot.
Overall, it’s closer to Valheim with a fortnight look, than it is a Pokémon game.
The whole goal is to collect the “Pals” (off brand Pokémon) and put them to work for you…. And you can eat them also.
@@illuminotme825 Yes I have the same feeling! I haven't heard many people say anything real negative about the game - most of the reviews are glowing. My one concern is that I play games exclusively in single player, so hopefully its still fun

I love this game I have now two bases and I’m only like level 15 or something now I am curious why they gonna do in future updates gonna be fun like we could get like new worlds that are different and stuff my surfant for some reason loves climbing ontop of roofs
People hate on Pal world cause it’s so similar to Pokémon, But for years we as Pokémon fans have had discussions on how Pokémon could be better, and for years Nintendo ignored us. Now that a different studio came around and gave us what we wanted everyone wants to be butt hurt and say it’s plagiarism, but Nintendo had their chance and they squandered it. I hope this is a lesson for Nintendo to do better in the future.
This game is for both weirdos who like mistreating and enslaving Pokémon and for people who want to treat the Pokémon like their cute little pets I’ve never seen a thing so well done in a long time

This game really does have endless potential. The fact that they've played it to safe with the Pokemon games might bite them in the behind.
No joke I would pay more if the devs can promise faster development of new content, this game is too good. But sadly it doesn't work that way

Its probbaly the most polished game in EA that ive seen before lmao. Its got minor issues here and there, but I think its pretty solid. I hope wr get more pals that resemble some digimon cause monster design, thats what it feels like more to me. Mechanics wise, it feels like pokemon.

I was sceptical of this game, but honestly a lot of what I’ve seen is exactly what I hoped Legends Arceus would have been and I really hope TPC is taking notes because I would love to hit a Hitmonchan with an axe and then force it to build a base

Did you know you can catch syndicate worker's as well. I tried but the capture chance was only 15%. I think you need a better pal ball
Plus you have to keep everyone feed , If not they die
I guess the thing I kinda nitpick from palworld is that you can feel the budget-ness from the game. But I guess that's the impressive thing from the devs, is that they can make a great game from whatever budget they have. I really hope the devs keep updating the game to polish it even more
The hud and menus look a bit Death Stranding-ey
I really hope they use all the money they're making, to hire writers and loremasters, to really create a living world with an interesting story, and I would really like to see it be less crafting/building focused. I'd like to be able to start out with one Pal and explore a thriving world like traditional pokemon games, dealing with interesting problems around the world, and fighting off evil orgs.
I also really want to see better Pal AI, with Pals having more herd-behavior, making it more difficult to catch tons of pals, and making you really have to make a plan and think strategically about catching Pals.
I'd like to see more trapping and charming options to capture Pals without being overtly violent. Also, a cost to catching lots of Pals, so you have to really think about which Pals you wanna catch, and not just catch one of everything immediately.

yeah the building needs work lol i just tried to make a slanted roof and the pieces just won't fit together
@jayveeeee it's a bit easier if you build the flat roof tiles all the way across first. Then just get on top and look down. For some reason, anything slanted has a better chance of fitting when you are looking down.
