Tabs and sheet music are available at shop.per-olovkindgren.com/ (not this one though). A beautiful piece by Venezuelan composer and guitarist Alfonso Montes. Viva Venezuela! Per-Olov
Thank you! Alfonso Montes told me the story behind it: he was forced to leave Venezuela after the "coup d'état" by Hugo Chavez. And this was composed thinking about closing the door to his house, sliding the door keys into the mailbox and knowing he would never return to see it again. It gives an idea how deep this is. Thanks for listening. Per-Olov
Thank you! I am very happy for your kind words. Maestro A. Montes was happy for my recording too and that makes me very happy. Thanks for listening! Kind regards, Per-Olov
:-) Actually he invited me to Germany after hearing this! We had a great time together. He told me he prefer my version above all others. I was, of course, humbly thankful. And thank YOU! Per-Olov
LOL. I am not married. My my girlfriend is the one that made me do this. She is Venezuelan and told me about Montes. I will be grateful to her always! Beautiful music. Thanks, Per
Ah! Muchas gracias Maestro! What an honor to play for you and read your kind comment! I love your music and when Marieugenia (lunslunanueva) asked me if I would play it for her, I just fell in love with it (and her). It will be a part of my standard repetoir on my future concerts. I had to look up the word "duende" and now I am even more honored. Thank you for taking your time to listen to me. Please keep doing that. Saludos desde Dinamarca! Pelle
Thank you... It's very kind of you. I think there are so many great musicians here and I am only one more trying to do my best. Montes music is very beautiful. Who cannot play it beautifully...? Kindly, Peo
Just as the author, it reminds me of leaving Venezuela, leaving family behind, and hoping at some point things will change for the best...cry everytime i hear it...
Dear Mr. Kindgren, A friend of mine asked me to see (hear) your playing of my Preludio de Adios and I must say that it is simply beatiful. Great sound and very good "duende". It is a joy to hear ones music so beatiful played. Thanks Alfonso Montes
Dear Sandy, It's good to know I can inspire! That's the best comments I can get. I hope you will keep playing as long as you are able to. The guitar and music is like honey to the soul... Thank you! Peo
I'm from Mexico, I need to tell you that's the best version of this song! feelings! performance! that's perfect! sorry for my english, I'm beginner. thanks a lot for this!
You know, I bounce around this place listening to a bunch of guitarist and I'll tell you there's NOTHING like coming back to Peo and hearing something recorded & posted in high quality, not to mention, his first rate ability and expression! I love it!
Peo, as a mere intermediate player at age 50, I have no time to waste. Thank you for inspiring me to challenge myself. I have grown so much since watching and listening to your videos. Nobody does it better. Sandy
Thank you Denian for listening to me. An honor! My upcoming CD will be out before Christmas... I hope. It has taken longer time than expected... :-( Kindly, Per
As the giver of this song to us, you have to know this, often the "song" is our ony salvation, Peo, this interpretation has been my constant friend for days, I have listened to it over and over, and your interpretation. Know that all is not in vain, the song has been a needed medicine for my days ... continue my friend sharing the song...
:-) Thank you Tarik! I am so happy to know you are listening to my 'old' recordings too. I have to brag a little here... (sorry). Montes contacted me and told me this was the best version of his composition he ever heard. After that he invited me to Germany. We had a great time. End of bragging... Take care. Per-Olov
Hi. Yes, this piece is so beautiful! I love it. And Alfonso Montes told me the story behind it and that makes it even more sad... :-( To get your little finger up there you have to lower your thumb on the back of the neck so you can get around... Good luck! Per-Olov
Ha... very funny! :) If I haven't said this before, I would like, officially, to thank you for pointing me to this music. First time I ever heard it was in my car in Easter... with a stunningly beautiful woman in the passenger seat. I wish I can try that again soon. Thanks for everything. Pelle

Simply the most beautiful, heartfelt version of this wonderful composition on UA-cam. Also, your arrangement of Retrato Brasileiro (Powell) is the very best and my favorite interpretation. Thanks so much, John (Washington, USA)
Dear Mr. Per, I am posting another comment here. I've seen your other playing, and I like this most. Your performance is just beautiful and simply perfect. Now, I have learned the classical guitar since 6 months ago and your playings are encouraging me to practice further more. You moved and touched deep inside of my heart. Even I would cry... Thank you for sharing your calm but great wonderful performance.
Very contemplative and nostalgic - and very beautifully interpreted (as usual). Thank you for introducing the Venezuelan composer for classical guitar. - Athan
