My suite "Oceans of the Moon" consists of different parts that describe some of the "oceans" on the moon's surface (the dark areas seen from Earth). First is the "Sea of Serenity" (Mare Serenitatis), then "Ocean of Storms" (Oceanus Procellarum), they are repeated... Then comes, the arpeggio part; "Sea of Waves" (Mare Undarum) And to the end the piece, a Coda; "Sea of Tranquility" (Mare Tranquillitatis)

Wow... This song has such a natural, beautiful sound. I can hear, and feel the tides, being pulled by the moon.. it's incredible the passion you play with and that sea of storms gives the music such life. this is an amazing composition.. Blyton's piece is in the form of "4 Variations - Theme - 4 more Variations". The theme, which is quite lovely, is a guitar adaptation of his own song-setting of Percy Bysshe Shelley's poem "To The Moon", which was originally scored for high voice and string quartet.
It is recorded on an all-Blyton CD, "Carey Blyton: The Guitar Music", with solos and duets recorded by the Hand-Dupre Duo. Apollo Sound LC 0060.

Ah! Jo! You notice everything! How do you do that? It's amazing! Even my "stairways to Heaven"! WOW! My gitano makes noices :( And I have been recording for my CD and hat to plat with a pillow and stuff.
