  • I’m only 5kg away from my goal weight, and I’m trying to focus on losing as much fat as possible. Eating more protein and working out regularly is hard though, and I’m really struggling.
    Next week, I have a slightly different vlog for you - a daily vlog where I walk you through everything I do in a day to stay positive and consistent.

    I love your vlogs!!! They inspire me to keep going. There are so many vloggers who lose weight like crazy and don’t have much fallbacks. My weight loss is exactly going like yours and it pushes me off track thinking it should be working better. But that’s not how a sustainable weightloss is going and if I struggle now, I watch your vlogs to remind me 🥰 keep going, love ya ❤️

I hope you also keep going, don't give up and reach your goal in a healthy manner ❤️ I think sharing your journey pressures you to always show progress without fallbacks, but weight loss is not like that. I could lose weight faster, but it would not be sustainable for my mind, and then I'd probably give up. So let's do our best to stay positive!     I have a suggestion for you, why dont you try and wake up earlier to workout/bike/run in the morning instead of doings it after coming back from work? a lot ppl do that (myself included) and it actually gives you a boost of energy throughout the day +more time to relax and enjoy your evening!!

      I have also been thinking about waking up early to exercise before work! I think it would help me a lot with my energy and time management. I am thinking about how to do it, but I might try it soon. Thank you for your suggestion, I appreciate it!!

    hey may I´being watching your videos recently and found them to be quite inspirational for meal ideas, so thanks!!! Im also on a journey to lose 5kg.....Im also a doctor and practice IF, just wanted to let you know about the term "clean" fasting....wich means when in the fasting hours you cannot drink anything other than black coffee or green tea, even some drops of lemon juice and the ginger powder can "wake up" an insuline response, and therefore break the fast....Im just trying to be helpfull cause especially for women and our hormones, a clean fast brings far more benefits.....keep going you´ve got this!!!!

    Hey dear , happy to see you making more changes and upgrading yourself in more healthy path. It will take some time to reach 55kg's dear but slow and steady will keep you more sustainable and I know you will make it. Dear next time include the protein powders with food it might change flavor and can be seem like eatable. Like pancake mixture, smoothies, desserts. I don't really believe in protein powder , I just take proteins by food because I felt like if I'm addicted to protein powder it might be a regular basis, anything with regular basis can effect if it's long term ( that's my thought and some science). If it's amazing to you may go on with that dear. I will be eagerly wait for your next video. Stay happy and safe dear.

      Yes, I also think reaching 55kg will take a long time, but it is more important to focus on the journey and enjoy the process so I don't give up! And I agree, I don't want to eat protein powder, so I am trying to eat more high-protein food, but it is difficult to reach my goal without eating too many calories... I will keep trying, because I really hope in the future I don't have to eat protein powder. I am very happy to see your comment, thank you for being here. I hope you have a very good week dear!

    I hate the taste of protein powder too. I tried flavorless protein and like it so much more than vanilla or other flavors that usually have artificial sweetness. I mix the flavorless protein w a flavored yogurt and add granola or nuts :)

    Hi May, may I ask how much calories you aim for every day? Yes I also struggle with protein intake, it is so hard.. actually losing weight is so hard.. but like you said, doing it sustainably is the best way to go. Thank you May, I really enjoy your videos especially as I also try to lose weight.

      Usually I aim for 1400, depending on how hungry I am I will eat more or less, and on the weekends I don't really count, but I think I usually eat between 1600 and 1800, and I always keep track of my nutrition to make sure I'm eating enough protein and vitamins!
      And yes, I think losing weight is simple, but it is still very difficult to do. I wish you the best on your journey too, we can do this!!

    Should i stop doing intermittent fasting if I constantly experience blackouts in the mornings when I fast?

      I haven't done a lot of research on this symptom, but I think if the blackouts started happening after you began intermittent fasting, you should probably not do it. Some bodies are more sensitive to long hours without food, and blood sugar levels or blood pressure may get too low and cause dizziness or blacking out. Intermittent fasting isn't suitable for everyone, but if possible, I would consult with a doctor just to make sure there are no underlying problems. Please take good care of your health, and I wish you the best ❤️

      From what I read, fasting is not suitable for teenagers that are still developing, or people that are active throughout the day. For people with diabetes, anemia, and other health conditions, fasting is usually not suitable, so a doctor should always be consulted first before trying! For everyone else who wants to try, I recommend starting slowly with short fasts like 12-14 hours once or twice a week, and see how you feel. Also, the benefits of fasting are not the same for everyone, so if you try and feel like it doesn't work for you, you don't have to worry about it! Listening to your body is the most important!

    fair life is the best protein milk in my opinion, i don’t know if they have powder. i can’t even drink whey because the taste is too strong. fair life is more expensive, but it tastes like mcdonald’s chocolate milk.. so it’s worth it for me😅

    I want to ask your something i want to go on a diet but at the same time i don't want to lose my curves so the workout you do is helping you to lose your curve or gain it?

      I have more belly and back fat, and also hip dips, so my curves don't really look good. Workouts help me look better because my curves become "smooth" as I lose fat. I think working out is always better for body shape and appearance. But if you like your curves, maybe you can try losing weight very slowly and doing workouts, and see how you feel.       전 개인적으로 생리첫날에 몸이 너무 많이 아파서 운동을 안하고 꼭 쉬어요. 근데 첫날후에 괜찮아져서 평소처럼 운동할 수 있여요 보통. 몸은 좋지않으면 쉬어야 합니다~

      Yes, if you are in a calorie deficit you will still lose weight! But eating enough protein helps your body lose fat while protecting your muscle. You don't need to eat a lot, just a balanced amount 😊

      If I have been following a routine, I try to switch things up for a few days, like go on the bike in the morning before eating rather than at night, or eat low carb and no sugar if I have been eating carbs normally. If I have been eating at a deficit every day, I also like to have a day of eating more calories to "shock" the body.
      Sometimes we plateau because of water retention (like I usually plateau between ovulation and period when I retain the most water weight), other times maybe our body became too efficient at following our routine. Mindset is the biggest problem because if we give up, we will lose progress for sure. But give yourself more time and just make some small adjustments if you still are stuck, because if you are in a deficit you will beat the plateau for sure! I wish you the best!

      It depends on how you feel! Personally, I try to eat things I like every day, just in moderation and within my calorie budget. If I take a "free" day after many days of not eating things I enjoy, I will overeat and binge. It's better to find a balance that allows you to enjoy what you eat and not overeat, but if you take "free" days and you don't overeat, then I think it is totally fine 😊
