It's possible that the first short G chord Malcolm plays on the riff has the A string blocked as well. I'm looking into it.

Great analysis, enjoyed it!!!! Thanks!
Glad you like it. Thanks!
I love these deep dives into their playing style.. thanks.. I think Malcolm plays his rhythms more freestyle than we think.. changes things up with feel.. but always on..
Agreed. I always have a hard time with Mal cause he keeps changing things up haha Thanks!
Angus and Malcolm were true geniuses that everyone always looks over because “it’s just the same three chords”.
Agreed 100%!
@@KozumaHeiji So I'm about to geek out but I totally didn't even realize that your username used to be JaimihnoPagina. I used to watch your tutorials all the time 10+ years ago when I was first learning guitar. Glad to see you're still around!!
@@AaronSkone yeah, that's me! Thanks for your continued support. Appreciate it!
no one "overlooks" them.
i can't wait to see lesson video of "Have a drink on me" and "Heatseeker") Really love these songs
I think Angus uses his middle finger just to mute a string on G chord and d string on C chord, but who really knows :)
Great vid nice touch
Thanks

Good suggestion. Thanks
20 years ago, almost got into a fistfight over there being a variation in the 'versions' of G and D chords with my bandmates. They heard G and D I heard variations of both and it caused tensions, to say the least.
Love your posts
Can you do a tutorial on
ACDC Rock N Roll Singer with the solos pleeeease
Nice catch. You should make some Blow Up Your Video guitar tutorials, there is a lot of amazing, unusual and odds guitar work from AC/DC in that album
Thanks! Yeah good suggestion
Cool discovery. Its much easier to play it this way, and I believe the boys were going for some simplicity in their playing sometimes, as in working smarter, not harder.
Agreed. Thanks!
I always thought Malcolm played the riff with only downstrokes? Could be from just the video that I've watched, but either way it sounds good I think.
Yeah, very possible! It's just how I feel comfortable playing it for now. Always more things to learn.
Actually I just realized another small detail on the intro and I will have to record it again for the full video haha
the recommendation to listen to your explanation is awsem...
Excellent breakdown.. Angus always uses that weird G chord.
Thanks! Yeah
you're perfectly right, two different G chords on that song
Thanks
please play Malcolm's guitar the intro of you shook me all night long from the album back in black.
Yeah, it's coming in the full length video
