The little dinosaur ran away from Levine because he smiled, most animals will see teeth as a threat and either attack or run away, being a paleontologist, Levine should've known that

I relax. I know they don't hunt during the day, so I simply trot away and start eating some nearby leaves. I may be small, but my appetite is huge. Suddenly, I catch a whiff of a weird smell. I freeze. I hope it's not a predator. I sniff it closely. And I realize that these are no predators. And then, I see them. Tree-creatures. Those creatures that are scaleless and stand like trees on their two legs. There's two of them. One turns its head. It saw the bush I was in move. I step out. Slowly, it extends its clawless hand. By scent, I realize it is male. I cock my head once and then climb on. I curiously investigate. I see his mouth turn into this weird shape. From what I can tell from his scent, he's happy and excited. Suddenly I catch a faint whiff of Carnotaurus scent, this time fresh. I hiss, trying to alarm the tree-creatures, and I bolt for it. I hear rustles. Then high-pitched cries. As I run, I hear a few more screams. The tree-creatures are being attacked, I realize. I see the Carnotaurus pair drag him into the forest. I've read the lost world novel off and on over the last 18 years, and I always assumed it was the raptors that grabbed Diego and attacked Levine. I never put two and two together until I saw your video on the history of the Carnotaurus in the JP franchise.

Have you ever thought about doing that, this video is another great example of how much you truly bring it to life, even though I do think the sound effects and pictures do help😂😂
Have you ever considered reading the entire novels as an audiobook on UA-cam? Seriously. Your voice reading something as scary as the Jurassic Park novels really brings up the tension the books tell. (Thumbs Up)
I've always assumed Richard Levine was attacked by a Velociraptor as a foot with a giant middle toe is mentioned when Diego is pulled in to the jungle.
This is what I mean when I say Steven's Jurassic Park films are like glitter and fairy dust, compared to Michael Crichton Novels, though I love Steven's Jurassic Park films, I hope one day to see Michael's electrifying and terrifying book on the screen
When you think about it, the carnotaurus in TLW novel is so much different than what it’s real life counterpart was found out to be later on. The carnivore that was depicted in the novel as camouflaging with it’s environment was found out to be an animal built for speed...
So Ive read the books but somehow your voice and small sound effects with images make every vidoe Ive watxhed where you go over scenes more scary than me resding them myself.
I wish the movies would of have the same terrifying moments as the novels. It takes an amazing author to put you into a situation deeper than a film can.

Carnotaurus is such an underrated dinosaur in the series. In my opinion, it should be right up there with the T Rex and Velociraptor in terms of how lethal it is.
I remember thinking at first Diego was killed by a Raptor but then reading that AMAZING passage later with Thorne and the two Carnotaurus! I loved how it tied in with how Diego dies.

Omg so I just finished listening to the audio book to jurassic park, and the whole time all I could think about is how much better I would have enjoyed the experience if it was you reading it! Have you ever thought about doing that, this video is another great example of how much you truly bring it to life, even though I do think the sound effects and pictures do help😂😂
It’s a shame that we never saw the Carno camouflaging in FK.
Hi Klayton great vid as normal they are just fantastic.
Yay another video on my favorite dinosaurs carnotaurus thx klaytion your amazing you deserve 10.1000.10000000000000 sub
Hey klayton great video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.
Jeez dude ... your voice is soo soothing. You can legit read me a book and I would knock out 😂
First and hell I love how they put this in book
Love it man 👍👍 u always surprise me with new content
"There's nothing than birds here"
If they were the real bird like beasts would't be such a big problem as the monsters of Jurassic Park.
Have you ever considered reading the entire novels as an audiobook on UA-cam? Seriously. Your voice reading something as scary as the Jurassic Park novels really brings up the tension the books tell. (Thumbs Up)
Another great vid!!
The stalking scene chrichton set up within the first few mins of being on the island was amazing
Carnos are such a memorable Dino and I’m glad they finallly appeared In fallen kingdom also great vid bro.
There’s only birds here.
Me: Yes birds. Birds from sixty five million years ago.
One day can you read the whole book
Because it’d be awesome
I LOVE YOUR VIDS ❤️❤️
When you think about it, the carnotaurus in TLW novel is so much different than what it’s real life counterpart was found out to be later on.
The carnivore that was depicted in the novel as camouflaging with it’s environment was found out to be an animal built for speed...
That first roar in the beginning of the video scared the hell out of me. I was listening through my car speakers during a peaceful drive lol
My favorite dino lowkey
So Ive read the books but somehow your voice and small sound effects with images make every vidoe Ive watxhed where you go over scenes more scary than me resding them myself.
I love the way he added the Isles dryo calls into the video
If people didn't go any farther than this they'd think Levine actually died.
Whenever I hear the ominous music that you play at the beginning of these videos, I shut off the lights cause I know this shit is about to be good
In my opinion, the best Carnotaurus scene In The Lost World.
You are a awesome narrator dude
I remember those carnos. Such a nasty creation. The books had the real monsters in the pages.
5:30 I gotta know what that scream SFX is called
I wish the movies would of have the same terrifying moments as the novels. It takes an amazing author to put you into a situation deeper than a film can.
Thanks to you klayton I read the lost world novel not so long ago and boy did I enjoy it thank you for introducing it to me. I only wished the movie had been like minus the DX disease as I prefer a happy ending for the dinos. Lol
Carnotaurus is such an underrated dinosaur in the series. In my opinion, it should be right up there with the T Rex and Velociraptor in terms of how lethal it is.
I'm still hoping Jurassic World 3 will give us a camofloging Carnotaurus scene.
I remember thinking at first Diego was killed by a Raptor but then reading that AMAZING passage later with Thorne and the two Carnotaurus! I loved how it tied in with how Diego dies.
POV when “IT CAN CAMOUFLAG!!!!”
You should read both Jurassic Park novels for audiobooks . Your voice makes the plot move even better, and with Michael Crichton's plot movement with your voice would be A-MA-ZING
(I hope that didnt sound weird, I just wanna tell u that ur reading is really really good and interesting)
If this was in the lost world movie I would love it
I love the orange carnotaurus picture, the one from the side. ♥
I honestly think we need the camouflaged carno in evolution as a genetic mod or a skin what do you think @Klayton Fioriti
They have that for the indominus rex but they should add it to carnotaurus too!
@Max Liston it is part of a dlc and was added in the secrets of Dr. Wu update.
The creepy music is awesome
Oooo that intro music. Chills.
One of my favorite parts from the novels. Next you need a video about the history of the Lindstrat air rifle in Jurassic Park lore.
Great video!
