I'm from Minnesota and i enjoy prospecting, was just wondering if you ever read De Re Metallica written in 1556, translated by Herbert Hoover. It is in the Public domain but I prefer hard copy rather than reading on the computer. Its full of interesting ways they mined and how they extracted minerals and flour gold using "Golden fleece" (Pg 328) it describes the technique but the prior pages show how they made there sluices and there steps. Starts on page 267 book VIII. The flour gold here has always interested me, i grabbed some black sands after panning it on superior. Then i ran across your youtube page a few months ago. Hope to run into you someday if i don't get eaten by a bear or cougar when i solo prospect. lmao I'll have to take some pics of my sluice and high banker design i started building and send you a email. Go Team!

Have you ever tried panning over at Nugget Lake county park? I find gold there often. It's a county park in Pierce county that allows anyone to pan in the river there. I know people who have found precious gems There.
