- This one doesn’t release until 11/07/2023, but you can preorder it now to be among the first to get it! I love a classic reference bible. It just looks so…classic. Now your favorite thinline (formerly called slimline) is enabled with all the powerful features of a study bible with one download and scan. Check out my quick review.

I really like when Bibles (that are not study Bibles) have book introductions, it's something that would be nice to see more often
Beautiful Bible, hard to decide whether to go for this one or the thinline reference.😅
oh wow this is super nice. It's making me want to get the NLT just for that. I already have a CSB though, I don't know if it would be worth it because of that.
Hard to beat $7.50.
@@anickelsworthbiblereviewsIt certainlyis, but should've specified the genuine leather 😆 That center-column layout is sweet! I don't usually like them, but this one really caught my eye. Plus the whole filament-enabled and the word study system seems to be a really nice tool I've been considering adding an NLT to my collection for a while now. This might be the one to finally make me take the plunge!
I have the older slimline version, a leather bound would be nice. ✌️
This one would be good in a larger print
Hey, Tim. I hope you are doing well. I just have a question in regards to the center column in the Bible; I wanted to do a little research about who, where, and when did publishers start using center column and I couldn't find anything about the history of it, do you think you could make a community post or a video or something to look at the history of the center column?
Hmmm…I’m not even sure where to start. Let me think on this.

Hello Tim....nice review....iam also a two column layout fan....please suggest NLT bible with no ghosting in non premium editions..
Ghosting is something we have to live with in all bibles. It is the layout that masks it. This one does they well outside the poetic settings.
@anickelsworthbiblereviews Thank you so much Tim, for your reply..
The NLT Immerse Editions have ZERO ghosting. It’s like regular book paper. I love it.
@618society7 thank you brother, for your kind suggestion..
STOPPPPPP I KEEP BUYING BIBLES!!!! this was my favorite layout
It’s the better Pitt Minion only bigger!
@@anickelsworthbiblereviews hehehe. I like the one NLT from a few years ago that was center column and was brown. I just bought one on Christian book.
I agree Tyndale are raising their game. I’m not convinced by the Filament stuff (tried it, not for me, feels gimmicky); but in terms of quality they’re publishing some really nice new editions. I've been very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the genuine leather on the couple I’ve picked up recently.
My personal opinion is that Tyndale is aware of the premium bible market and NLT overlap. Schyuler NLT Quentel sold quickly; thus, a second order with alternative colors. And Schyuler is extended to doing a PSQ NLT. I think Tyndale is getting ready with format/type setting to do their own premium line similar to Thomas Nelson, Zondervan, and Holman. However, it may take a couple more years for development.
A little bird told me that Humble Lamb may be publishing a NLT version in the future. Now that's a Bible that I'd like to have.@@bobmetzger6215
I’m with you Tim. In the Bible I love double column and references in the center column. I have a number of Filament Bibles. Not sure how I feel about that feature. Thanks for your review. I’m an NLT lover. Would like to see Tyndale make some premiums.
@@bobmetzger6215 I hope so. I don’t like Schuyler because of their paper.
I like that... looks like its still the older typeset like the original slimline? But just added the filament ?? Does it have a sewn binding?
Yes it has a sewn binding and yes, I believe it is the exact same as the Slimline with added filament capabilities.
I want to get an NLT just to have one to add to my collection but i don’t know of any that don’t have red letter 😕 (other than some of the study bibles. I want just the text of the Bible.)
I don’t think the Quentel is red letter.
I purchased the NLT Compact Giant Print Bible, Filament Enabled Edition (Red Letter, LeatherLike, Mahogany Celtic Cross) after seeing your review on it Brother Tim. Love this easy carry Bible. I really enjoy using the filament study aspect. All it was missing was cross references. It looks like now I have to buy another one. I love cross references. Oh well, my motto is you can never have too many bibles! Also, always keep extras to give away.
✝️📖🙏🤍
The link to the black genuine leather takes you to a different Bible than the one you review. Just FYI.
Thank you. It is fixed now.
In your opinion would you say this is a good enough text block (paper quality, typeface, font size etc) to be worth a custom rebind? @anickelsworthbiblereviews
Almost any sewn binding is good. It’s a matter of preference. Personally I wouldn’t rebind it because I prefer a larger font. But it’s definitely a solid block.
Thank you :) @@anickelsworthbiblereviews
