Great interview! I love this Channel! I lived in Nashville 1981 to 1984 Playing lead guitar for Eddie Rabbitt. I so relate to so many things Derek is saying about being on the road, playing for an artist, replicating parts...I really enjoy these interviews, bringing back a lot of great memories..very cool
Sometimes being quiet and letting others being fun works! Playing shows on ships is definitely a job especially when the musical director is loudly talking to you while you are playing! Pencil is easy but a good old fashion mechanical pencil does help! These are great interviews but it was done 8 years ago
Hey, I have to say...awesome job on the audio. No, really. It's so nice to struggle to hear someone talk or hear some hissy background noise. You are providing such an informative service.
Truetone Sorry I wasn't clear. It was meant as a compliment. Your videos have the best interview audio that I have ever heard. It was so good that it actually caught my attention.
@truetone is there a book(s) that are considered the standard for the Nashville number system? I'm familiar with it, but when Derek said his folks told him to go out and get a book I realized maybe there's more to it. Many thanks!
His work with Morgan Wallen is amazing! His steel licks are so unique

Please do one of these on Tom Bukovac. I would die!

I hope you are saying that we don't have hissy background noise, so I will say thank you.

Thank you! We try hard to make the episodes sound and look good. The audio is recorded by Truetone's customer service rep and repairman, Dana Weaver.
Truetone Stellar job Dana. Everyone could take a lesson out of your playbook.👍🏻
Thank you Chris!!
Awesome interview!

Thanks, @truetone! One more vote here for a Tom Bukovac Truetone interview.
Hay @ 12:57 does it work just to stay sort of quiet and get along?
