any idea how to service the change over lever. the arm popped off on mine i got it back onto the clear plastic part. But it wont move when dropping the want to vacuum, I have to manually move the clear plastic part
@@FINDITFIXITRESTOREITBUILDIT yeah i just put presurre on the lever while pressed against the clear plastic part and moved them together and it popped back into the slot
there's a half circular clip that lifts up to remove the head, when you lay the machine down the top of the clip lifts up so just pop a screw driver under it and pop it off. them pull the head assembly away.
Yes, I had a good view of his black bucket at the far end of the bench, but it was difficult seeing what he was working on. Camera in wrong place because only one hand on show.
Great video! I just took all parts off as you demonstrated. Found so much dust and dirt! No wonder it wasn't working. Thanks.

hard to tell without seeing it are all the bits clipped into the correct slots so it leavers over then slid in?

Can you dunk the cyclone in its’ entirety into a bucket of soapy water and let it dry for a day like you can do with the bin ?
yes use some disinfectant in the bucket and it will kill any bad smells. something like flash works well.
how did you take the brush head off the camera didnt catch it

look at 10:25 to see me reassemble it to understand what I took off.
the video didn't show what you pressed to remove the head.

with the Dyson laying down on the side of the tube that goes fron the head to the ball there's a small release clip, push it and slide the head off.
Kind of worthless. I wanted to see how to take the main head off and of course it wasn't on camera
Same here that is the part I wanted to see.
