i remember when i was little, when i would have friends over or go to someone’s house the rule was always help clean up the mess you made, with it being toys or what not. i was never aloud to leave a house dirty and what not, i had to help clean up the toys before i left or my friend did.

I’ve been sick too, and yes, the house falls apart so fast! Moms should never have to get sick! I spent Sunday cleaning and getting caught up. Definitely could have thought of many different things I would have rather been doing on a Sunday! But at least we are blessed with a home to clean and a family to mess it up, right😁

Everyone in a home needs to be responsible for cleaning up what they use. It's so unfair to expect one person (especially when that person has been sick) to clean it all up. You did a great job. I hope your family appreciates you and all of your hard work.

Thank u so much for showing everything...the good the bad and the ugly. For the last 2 weeks i was struggling with a sciatica flair up. I was in so much pain even just walking to the restroom lol. All I did was I'd go to work and when I got home I would order takeout for the kiddos for dinner and d take my meds for relief during bedtime. Needless to say my home was a disaster lol. I'm on my 4 load of laundry right now and I'm watching ur video. Itd feels so amazing to get much home back I'm order and I feel like we are doing it together lol😊Thank u again for sharing.

I’m glad my house isn’t the only one that gets messy! My kids’ rooms used to get like that messy and I got fed up with it! I condensed their toys down to one medium toy box for each of their rooms! It amazing! Lol. Good job girl! You have a beautiful home!

This was me today! I’m a mom of one and my boyfriend (who isn’t the father of my child. We just started dating a few months ago.) came home after being gone for a month. He’s a truck driver and comes home for a week after four weeks being gone. My house was a MESS! I cleaned and got it all done today. It was so nice!

thats funny that your vents are in the middle of rooms. im in a manufactured & mine are near the walls..but when ya think about it its better away from the walls since furntinure or beds cover them & the air flow☺️thanks for the cleaning inspiration to get off my butt😉

If you unzip your sofa cushions, you can stick your hands in there and fluff them up. If the stuffing is too broken down, you can add more. It'll add years to your upholstered furniture. :)

You surely didn't do all that in one go? I'm knackered just watching you. Must have been very satisfying to see the end result though. I know when I've completed a cleaning project I keep going back to look at it and enjoy how nice it is, for I know it won't be long before there's a mess again... and that's just with me and Mr Right never mind kids.
I've had to clean my house before after exams and it was done all in one day. I would have to stop for a 5 minute break, and then hop right back on it, all with 2 kids trailing behind me messing up something else. Lol. It can be done.

Kelly's Korner 5 hours is still record timing, wow. It would have took me longer probably because I’d get distracted by the music I would be blasting.
Amazing that it only took 4 hours. That would have taken days for me. My kids destroyed the house right behind me as I cleaned up the mess from the original tornado. My kids were awful.

I don’t understand why kids aren’t made to clean their rooms these days. I always had to. And I will be making the same rules for my kids. That first kids room with toys everywhere really got to me I couldn’t believe it! Do kids really need that many toys?! Start rewarding them for helping
She did say her kids had friends over and they normally help her clean up. My daughters room looks like that after a couple days.

Actually I'm more surprised that husbands don't step up and help their wives. My husband is the same way, if I'm sick down for the count. Do you think he ever goes wow I love my wife I'm going to clean up for her. Nope it's more well I work why should I clean. I was raised in a home where my dad was a unicorn. He cooked cleaned worked full time and never let the house ever get messy. Husbands are big kids. That's what it tells me when I watch these mommy clean videos. Just my opinion lol 😂
Well, I'm from army parents and my bedroom was SPOTLESS. Now have two children of my own. I think it's down to personality also. My kids make huge messes and I get so peed off these bedrooms show me children playing and having fun. Normal kids my kids are the same. So what would be your trick to get children to do it straight away I'd love to know hun :) I tried everything. Personality is a big part too. I was very tidy when I was a kid because I loved it tidy where as my sister loved mess.
You raise your kids your way, she will raise them her way. When kids are as young as hers are, they almost always just end up rediscovering old toys while cleaning and playing with those instead of actually getting anything done. Besides, it's better for her kids to have physical toys than just playing with electronics all day like all the kids raised by parents that think kids don't need so many toys.
When I was little my Parents had the same wooden dresser set..Great Memories =) .Your set looks beautiful..They dont make regular furniture that well made anymore ..I can only magine how expensive it must be today.

I think a while back you asked for some advice on your living room, this is just a suggestion but you could take that night stand and the dresser in your bedroom (wood) and put them in your living room and move the white armoire in your bedroom since everything else in there is white and then put the dresser up against the wall where the armoire is now and put your tv on top of it and then move your couch in front of the window and use the nightstand as a side table beside your couch
