The one thing I never heard was God’s promise to provide a person with an orgasm. God made us male and female, so we need to realize that he’s the expert. At this point I don’t think anyone in this fallen world even knows what a normal sex drive is. We need to remember that we were created to glorify God and have fellowship with him forever. This life is only a blip on the timeline of eternity, and while I’m confident God understands our struggles, He knows what’s best for individuals and mankind as a whole. How does this discussion change shape when ministering to Christians (even ministers) who believe homosexuality isn't wrong? One of my best friends, and one of the most compassionate ministers I know, is an open homosexual, and I have struggled with how to maintain that relationship in light of this topic.
The defining factor is God’s word. Whether we view it as good or wrong doesn’t matter. Hod said his ways aren’t our ways. What ever anyone sin is ofc we are to love them the same. We can love someone and still not condone what they do without judging them. But homosexuality denies the grand design of what he created us to be. His word says that he has great Male and Female. So to deny that or any other word from the lord is denying his authority.
How is it a struggle to be a friend with someone just because you disagree with one aspect of their life? I do not judge or reject friends for disagreeing with me on the definition of marriage.

Hi Neil. Here's the way I understand the video. A person doesn't necessarily choose who they are attracted to - some people are attracted to the opposite sex, and some people are attracted to the same sex. The person in the video, from what I understand, isn't saying that a person experiencing feelings of same sex attraction are rebelling against God. Rather, the implication is that when you ACT on those feelings, that is when one rebels against God. This is no different, however, from a person acting on his or her heterosexual desires outside of what God says is acceptable. We're all broken by sin in some way, and that sin manifests in rebellion against God in many different ways. That's why we need Jesus - he's the only one who saves us from our sins and from the wrath of God.
Being gay or lesbian is not a sin. Being a part of the LGBTQ community is not a sin. I think it is disingenuous to suggest that being LGBTQ is "an expression of" rebellion against God. In fact, there is mounting evidence that sexual orientation is determined by an admixture of both nature and nurture, and, thus, is not a choice. There are also plenty of LGBTQ people who are Christians and there are many Christian denominations that support the LGBTQ community.
Hi John. I definitely understand the points that you are making. Before I share mine, I'd like to clarify some terminology to make sure that I'm responding to what you are saying. When you say that "being gay or lesbian is not a sin," I'm thinking that you are saying that a person can embrace the lifestyle associated with each of those terms and be alright with God. In other words, if a man wanted to marry a man or a woman wanted to marry a woman, you're saying that God would be okay with that. That's my understanding of what I think you're saying. If you are, then I'd have to disagree, because the Bible doesn't support anyone domesticating sin of any form. If a person, on the other hand, struggles with same sex attraction, but doesn't act on those desires because of his or her faith in Jesus, then that person is taking up his or her cross and following Jesus, which is something that pleases God. In other words, experiencing desires of any manner that are contrary to God isn't sin, but acting on those desires is when the person gives in and sins.
