I have also learned that since getting my pock-rock that, I can add a looper on the output side, and record a loop of drums & guitar rhythm for playback, and practice leads on top....so cool to be able to work on your own stuff!
I just got one of these from my wife as an early Christmas present and I love it. I have a ton of multi effects, pedals, amps, PA gear, etc. But out of all of it, this is by far the unit that surprised me the most. There is nothing else in this price range that even comes close.
Same and same. It was a pretty cool stocking stuffer this past Christmas, I was thrilled. I got my wife a payday candy bar cuz she said she likes them....
@@meakshaybura It can't be used wirelessly however, if your bluetooth speaker has a 1/16 stereo input you can come out of the headphones jack on the PockRock into that input and it sounds absolutely fine. Just turn on the pockrocks amp simulator switch.
I ordered the red one tonight!! Super excited to get it. Going to use it for my guitar and my electric violin. Thanks for such a great review. I know I made the right decision!
I bought one of these s few years ago. It's great to practice with, and have even gigged a few times with it. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a very good and cheap effect tool.
Bernared Gobenciong, dude, you are awsome! Excellent video! I had been looking all over for someone to demonstrate the different effects AND to show which button/knob to use. You did a great job! Thanks for posting.
Great review video ! Nice edit ! I just ordered one from Wally world for $32.99 with the power adapter and free shipping ! I think It will work well for a stereo battery powered guitar amp I'm building ! I am going to use this as a preamp/effects for it ! I had 2 12' fender vintage alnico speakers laying around and bought 2 $9 footnote amplifiers from parts express ! So for $50 I will have a true 2-12" stereo guitar amp powered by 2 9v batteries and 2 AA batteries ! Yee Haw buddy !
An excellent, entertaining and informative review that makes its point better than the pro's with a million subscribers. Well balanced between playing and talking. Have a like and a subscription.
honestly, i dont get why someone would get separate pedals for fuzz, overdrive, reverb, etc, when you can get all these effects in one pedal!!! great video btw!
a PERFECT Great video - No personal opinions or BS or stupid comments -simple as "this is it, this how it works and this is how it sounds" JUST PERFECT- congratulations on a job well done
Good review. I have one, but I don't use it very much. I like the effects but I mostly use my pedals. But it's still a good little effects Box. The drums sound quite good too.
Sorry for the dumb question but this is not an amp right this is a processor so you need an amp or like a headphone and for the guitar to make this work correct
Update 1 yr later. The biggest downfall is you can only use 1 delay of 3 OR 1 reverb of 3 at a time. The delay in the Pockrock is very good so I put a reverb pedal after the PR and it gets me where I want then. My reverb pedal has 6 very good settings. The Donner Multi Pad 100 you can use 1 of 3 delay with 1 of 3 reverb together! That's on my wish list ✌
Thanks for a great review. I haven't touched a solid guitar in about five years and picked one up this week. I was looking for something I could use to record it on "Audacity" and this seemed perfect for next to no money. I've gone ahead and ordered one for myself. One question, I see you posted this a couple of years ago, is yours's still going strong? At the price point I was wondering how much of a lifespan we can expect from these little gadgets.
Hey, good to hear that! Hahaha. Hmmm, mine is still working although I dont really take it out much. By that I mean I only use it at home. Hope this could help! 🤗
@@bernardgobenciong Hi bernard, my PockRock arrived a few days ago, I'm really pleased with it. Back in the day I used a Zoom 4040, this sounds just as good, if not better and is so much easier to use. It records really well so it's just what I was looking for. I'm so glad I found your review.
Getting hard to decide which one I am going to buy, either the G1 Zoom, the Sonicake or the MG-100 which are all absolutely good, until I saw this video., thanks man, its really worth a try for just $50 or less. 🤘🤘🤘
Thanks for making the video I'll be getting one from wish by November 21st i was so curious as to how it would sound on my les paul just my luck that's what you were playing on thanks
Hey, I know this video is 4 years old, but is the demo at 10:00 all using sounds from the the pockrock? Drums and all tones (as in you're not using gain from an amp or daw)?
I've added another video regarding the pockrock! I hope I could answer all the questions you guys had in that video. Go check it out on my channel "Ammoon Pockrock video 2"
No problems so far sir, and if your looking for a small and cheap multi-effects processor with cabinet simulation then yes, i would recommend it hahaha
Awesome video and intro! What is the name of the songs that you play from 3:00 to 4:30? Especially at 3:30? I am really interesting as it sounds beautiful and I would like to play it too :)
Liked it it But your pick up switch should haver been switched all the way down rather. than up That would give a clearer tone to understand the varieties better
HONESTLY THE EDITING OF THIS VIDEO WAS AMAZING
Awww, thanks! ❤
Agree! Really nice editing. Even had cool shots of the product at the start.
i second the motion
I thought i was the only one who noticed xD
Honestly, the sound was all over the place. Blasting loud - then I could barely hear it.
I have also learned that since getting my pock-rock that, I can add a looper on the output side, and record a loop of drums & guitar rhythm for playback, and practice leads on top....so cool to be able to work on your own stuff!
What looper do you use?
@@ajaybangi
Ammoon mini looper....they are inexpensive but, work very well and hold their own.

Can we directly connect this to Bluetooth speaker...? Guitar 🎸+ pockrock + Bluetooth speaker.?
Or else it works only for Ampli with speakers..
@@sneadmc Sadly you can only use one at a time but you can still dial in some great sounds out of this little thing :)

Feat honest review, more informative than the "infomercials" we see of this product on UA-cam.

Thanks,a great review and well played to demonstrate each effect.

Pock rock is ok? What ia the made
Hi! Ummm what do you mean by "what is the made" ? I'm sorry, I don't quite understand 😅
The product is made for china
I just checked and there's a sticker on the back that says "made in China" so it's made in China hahaha
The pockrock ammoon is good for accoustic guitar with pickup..it is advisable

how do I reset the preset I made to the initial settings
