This is the best demonstration I’ve ever seen. Absolutely no bullshit and straightforward. If only everyone could learn to do a demo like you’ve managed to do here.
Wow. And, by the way, for all who does not know. The tone consists from 3 things: 1)Hands of guitarist playing 2)hands of guitarist rotating knobs on a pedal 3)quality of effects/processing. When some famous guitarist advertise some pedal/processor - we all hear how he play and tune. I played thought guitar chain of a famous metal guitarist using his guitar, and I sounded like “me” 🤣 And when he played thought my setup, he sounded still like he usually sounds at the stadiums. So - gear doesn’t matter this much. Even crap gear can sound nice in right hands. This processor is definitely is OK for most cases and it is very nice overview! Very nice tones! Thinking about it and this video was amazingly helpful!!!
People talk shit about the pedal because the distortion sounds like absolute hell if not dialed in correctly. It's a great processor for recording. Absolutely awful just using one of the heavily distorted settings plugged directly into an amp.
This is a great tools for sketching, room practicing or even small gigs. But what I do not like is that it sounds small and very "artificial". You have to do a lot of adjustments to get a more realistic and bigger sound. None the less, this is the best demo available in YT related to this product. Thanks Prymaxe!
Really??? I bet I can compare the sound that you can get out of this with the line6 xt pod like the OD of this Digitech vs the TS OD on the Line6 pod xt and for sure, the OD on this pedal sounds 100x better.
This is the kind of clip I wish EVERYONE would do! No rambling about and lots of demo sounds. I just bought one of these with the expression pedal and it is a nice little great sounding unit.. There is a lot more than I will need, and I still need to do lots of tweaking.. I have used it live with both a Les Paul and an acoustic and so far so good.. Just need to program some things of my own.. also, the expression pedal was only $20 more and more than worth it.. The pedal works as a volume pedal as well and makes switching guitars live a painless effort.. Again, thanks for a great demo!!
I just bought this pedal today at Guitar Center in Corpus Christi TX. I like it, good pedal for the money. Great Playing by the way, you sound like Robben Ford by the way, tasty licks
Before giving my two cents on this unit, I will say that I do appreciate also specially crafted pedals that may be indeed quite expensive compared to this sort of multi-effect device. However, I have always been curious of those so-called 'underdogs' of any kind. Either it be a guitar or amp or else. This curiosity brought me more positive unexpected surprises than not. And getting just 59 eur out of my pocket to try this one wasn't a mistake at all! I have often found out that LEARNING TO DEATH the item you bought may be the only key to find that sweet spot you will never regret. And therefore the little money spend here too! I am already delighted by this mini-multi effect unit. Taking no room at all. Easy to understand after a very short while. Yes, it is indeed something to explore and get more than what you paid for. Any debutant will learn a lot using this as the layout is going to display the typical way to use effects together. And be quite happy to have already found something to boost their creativity or at least give a feel to songs that they wish to cover. I have been playing since the 70's and I do endorse this product without any hesitation. One thing to end this comment: play the hell out of this unit and you'll find the magic! Rock on!
Thank you for this wonderful review Marcia❤️💯👍....I've been leaning towards the Mooer GE100, but my local guitar shop guy encouraged me to this. Can you record loops to practice with?....and combine effects like fuzz+wah or that sought after Gilmour compression+O.D.+delay? And save them as a user patch? Thank you, I know it's been 6 months🤗
@@brianmendenhall8387 No, this is only a multi effects box but you can save the type of arrangements you make with it. You will need to get a looper. and yes, you can still connect extra pedals to the unit. Make sure that your fuzz is before it.and for the delay after.
THanks yal even though its yrs after your review some of us older player wanna bes are simply researching for more compact travel gig practice "do all"units this is kinda in line with what i see and hear in like the smaller compact VOX tone lab builds God Bless and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year going to put an order in for one of these without the pedal and run throough my Fender Twin Tube Amp and one of my Vol Pedals itll be plenty "big" enough
If you're just starting out on a budget this sounds pretty good. Figure what FX you use most and maybe get seperates for those. For $80 there isn't anything to complain about.

Brah, I've had this pedal board for a few months now and I'm loving it. As a matter of fact, yesterday I found the perfect setting to play Crimson and Clover. But in an accident, I removed my edits and couldn't remember what I had changed. Any ideas?
Steve Taylor Good question. I saw it at Guitar Center and for 63 bucks. Amazing little board and like you said won't drain the wallet. Christ, that's the price for a compression pedal alone. Why not?
Thanks for the comments Steve I have a RP50 and RP80 they key thing is they sound so analogue too, maybe I should get this pedal as it looks like it is a development from the RP50, so any of these multi pedals are over the top but don't actually sound that good
I bought a Boss GT3 off ebay a few years ago for £65 and it's bloody amazing ! It's so intuitive to navigate, the sound quality is superb and it has midi clock too. Another pedal worth checking out is the NUX MFX10 which is like having a box of vst plugins and you can assign control of ANY of it's parameters with the built in expression pedal and you can pick them up really cheap (I paid £35)
Just got this as an inexpensive Chorus/Flange/Delay device pending a few more paychecks when it will be replaced by an EHX epitome and deluxe memory man and expression pedal.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS DEMO!!! Finally, someone who just shows you what the pedal can do. The only thing we need to know is: how does it sound??? Great exploration of the range of features, and great playing. Really appreciate it.
I own this unit... and it's ok for somethings, but it is definitely on the bottom of my list of equipment that I use. It did not come with an owner's manual so that was strike one. Making edits to it was a hassle without the manual, so strike two, and the amp models... mmm, no. So, strike three. If you want this for casual practice for less intense guitar tone, then this is perfect for those who don't want to play hard rock and metal. My old 2001 Johnson J Station kicked this pedals butt on so many levels. The only reason I still have this one is because no one I know who plays guitar wants it. I got offered 20 bucks for it and I still have everything it came with, which pretty much sums it up.
I paid 60 for mine at guitar center, im actually kinda pissed, its nothing more than a redesigned RP 55,, same effects and the same lame drum loops, they could have at least changed the drums.
I have a Digitech RP55 . I like it cuz its small , easy to use , except one thing : the effects are noisy . Is this Element npisy ? I know , noise suppressor , but when you turn on the noise suppressor , they are noisy . Is thus Element quiet ?

How do I wire it properly? Manual says front input only, but I want to use it on the fx loop so I can use the Drive channel on the amp. Problem is it sounds too quiet and also is very noisy, hissy... Any advice?
I bought this unit to mainly have that "Dumbly" sound starting at :55. I was unable to achieve it. Are you sure that that sound came from this gear only? What are the settings?
What would happen if you press Preset Level again instead of edit button to get back to your effect? I would imagine it would put you back to your effect without having to navigate the effect chain again. Is this correct?
Hi. Do you know if, while playing live, there's a way to move and look for other effects in the list, without changing the one that I'm playing? And then select and change the one that I want.
You use the two foot switches and you've set up your own settings, you can save 100 of your own custom settings and then change between them. I was advise the XP version with the pedal.
ya there is. I got this pedal just for bedroom practicing with headphones. it serves it purpose very well for that. I find it confusing as fuck to use. but I like individual pedals that do there own thing. the only reason I got this was for practice. but yeah there's a wammy setting in there that does the Tom morello thing. if you wanna spend the time looking for it. I just plug in and go.

FINALLY someone who actually demos Usable MUSICAL tones. Not unrealistic distortion that you only hear the distortion not the guitar.
People talk shit about the pedal because the distortion sounds like absolute hell if not dialed in correctly. It's a great processor for recording. Absolutely awful just using one of the heavily distorted settings plugged directly into an amp.
Straight to the point without too much talking. Thanks !!
The first four minutes alone pretty much tells me what I need to know about the unit tone-wise. Thanks much. And, nice playing.
