I had lots of childhood abuse and that result in learning to not cry over time for survival mode and defense mechanism to not get yelled at. I got punished for crying.
This is actually very common and each victim can respond either way to trauma...I cry around one person likely because my body is always stuck in complex ptsd and survival mode. It's actually a very animalistic and normal response to hide pain ' like cats, as do humans when faced with traumatic events the body never wants to experience again.

Yup, that sounds like scumbag borderlines distorted perception of “the truth”. Most people don’t realize just how narcissistic and toxic borderlines are. I think we need to start believing what we see from Amber; stop blaming the victim. Action and justification immediately, meaning its researched. you're describing something traumatic, it shouldn't matter or even occur to you what other people would do. im a victim of abuse. i can't imagine saying i cried like others would cry. then i hid like other people would. Then i didn't speak to the police just like others wouldn't. nah. i am now on JD side.

If l was in a Court and asked to describe the abuse I suffered the first 11 years of marriage to a man, even though it took place over 40 years ago, I could describe every beating and every assault with no hesitation. I noticed when Amber is answering said questions she inserts many many "uh", "um" which, to me is proof she is making up her answers or trying to remember the answers she has rehearsed.
You have to engage different neural pathways when you are lying through your teeth I expect

My mother will be 85 in June. She was abused by my alcoholic father so badly over 55 years ago, that to this very day, she STILL sleeps with the lights on, her worst beatings always happened in middle of the night, he would frequently rip her out of bed, out of a deep sleep, after coming home from the bar very drunk.
I’m 52, the abuse mostly ended after I was born, she left him shortly after I was born. I was her motivation to get out ❤️💕🙏🏼.
My mama says the same stories over and over and over and over…. Every detail the same, every time….. sometimes she cries, sometimes not….
I just let her talk it out because it’s what she needs, she needs someone to just hear her and validate her, validate her feelings.
And no, unfortunately she’s never received counseling of any kind. Spousal abuse was considered “an embarrassment “ many years ago…. It’s not like it is now…. So to this very day she Carries the shame with her, everywhere she goes…. Like a 50lb brick, strapped to her back. It’s not fair 😢…..
So having seen what my mama acts like first hand. I’d lay my life on the fact that AH is absolutely NOT a real abuse victim….. it’s all lies…. She also needs to go to a trade school or something….She definitely needs to get out of acting, she’s a terrible actress…. They only used her for her pretty face and body…. That fades, and fast….. it won’t get her very far…

How can a person say that was abused under many years and even raped and had the guts to film all those years to plan to ambush him, instead of just leave the abuser. We are not talking about one or two tapes where she wants to prove that he was abuser. We are talking about years of recording and hours and hours of dialogues where we can see clearly that she provoked him.

@@EWAMILENAP he was also doing some recordings of her, in the trial he said that he wanted to record to show her exacty how things happened because she would tell him things either never happened or happened differently (I used to record my mom the same way), then she started recording him back, but he just considered it more evidence.

I would want that too if I was him, because of the effects it not only had on him but also his whole family - his kids. He’s a father. He cares for his children and don’t want them to suffer from this.

He was doing drugs before he met AH. He's paying for all the 3 penthouses she asked for, fought for and received still plus vehicles. She walked away with $6.8million, 2 dogs, a horse, 2 vehicles, 3 out of 5 penthouses, all her attorney fees paid tax free. Oh yeah it was in the settlement that she wanted him to pay taxes on everything. But she WANTED and GOT nothing. When she filed it was let's believe her wholeheartedly because she must be a victim but now he's fighting back and telling his side it's well he needs money because he used it all on drugs. I guess only women can be victims of DV.

She keeps saying she was protecting Johnny because in the last week's they had proved she was not helping and was cruel to Johnny when he was detoxing. Again covering her abuse on Johnny now trying to say she's been protecting him as she constantly keeps accusing him of abuse. She keeps looking at the jury speaking to just them trying to keep their attention and how hurt she was and is and even when the lawyers and judge are speaking privately she keeps sizing up the jury to see if they are believing her.

I won’t be angry. I’ve come to expect the system to be gamed by scum like this. To the point that I just don’t expect real justice in courts anymore at all. The abusive abuse democracy, kindness, compassion, courts of law, the education system, business. Decent people abide on the margins, as victims of all these things which have been subverted by these evil psychopaths to use against us like weapons of war.
If the jury only has what they are hearing and seeing in court, will they be able to discern the truth that we all know? That’s the biggest question.

I understand they sought to get jurors who knew as little as possible about them ahead of time. Of course those things are generally good, but all of us watching from out here know there’s so much more information that’s really helpful to seeing the whole picture more clearly. Do you know what their directions will be once they go into deliberations?
People speaking truthfully do not laugh when trying to convey honesty.
