I’m now a commercial pilot, and I’m flying H125/AS350b3e but thank you for the upcoming part 2 ! Will watch it with great pleasure. I’ll maybe learn some new things, who knows ?
The N1 needle on the start-up page doesn't move. Does the scale on the dial only represent a certain part of the N1 percentage? From 80% and up? Thank you very much for this video, it's very helpful.
Never thanked you for your reply, thank you :) I'm still not sure how delta Ng is calculated. According to the patent, they use: Delta NG = Ng - Ng * factor But what is that factor...
Sim Innovations This delta means the difference between the real and the max N1 in each flight. As the atmosphere density change, these values modify as well. The EECU (FADEC’s computer) calculate and send both max N1 and real N1 to VEMD. The VEMD is in charge to display the Delta N1 for crew members.
Where is part 2? I've been sitting on the ramp for 5 years.
you can play with the ECU while you wait ... ua-cam.com/video/aK-VDRpQO5M/v-deo.html
You are completely right, this fell off my radar and I really need to finish it. I will do soon.
Thank you so much for the video! Love and appreciate you guys 🙏🏾 Any chance of part 2 ever coming out?😅

Nice video! Does it works on ec130 b4?
The B4 is very similar. I will make one for that model.

Ralph Rietveld. It is a delta Ng (N1) indication. The needle start to move when N1 reaches arround 80%.
