Realms is how I got my foot in the door with playing with others online before finding some of the awesome communities like this one to play with others. Now that realms has increased render to 20 chunks from 12, I’m thinking of picking up one for my daughter and myself to play our world on together.

We've had a realm for several years, it started as a family game that eventually expanded to include some of my son's friends. It has been a great experience playing with the kids and teaching them how to manage themselves in a multiplayer environment. The Stories will add another layer to this, allowing even the youngest to have an easy way share what they are up to in game. As I post this, screen shots of favorite builds have been shared and the oldest has already taken the opportunity to advertise his new shop.
It's so great that Mojang is finally giving Realms a much needed upgrade... even though I'm still getting used to how close everything suddenly looks with the jump from 12 to 20 chunk render distance. 😂

Every time i try open the realms stories to see who it is, Minecraft closes, and i even see that there are many members of realms that are not part of it. I would need everyone to be a part to see who enters and who doesnt, it is a beatifull creative city. To have follow-up if something appears broken.
You cant do any secrets anymore because it says when you find anything 😭
You can disable auto events if you’re the realm owner.

There’s a settings option for the Realm owner in the top right corner of Realms Stories. It’s only one page of settings - easy to find.
Java server lets me render 32 chunks and all of the mods and shaders are free.

Hey Mojang, it's been so many years since Realms is around and the server still sucks. Incredible lag is still there to the point where it's unplayable and it destoys some farms because of the lag. Heck, even a tool with efficiency V becomes useless. Better fix that once Hardcore mode is out for bedrock. Some servers are cheaper than realms yet there's no lag

Hey BlueJay any tips on making a trading hall dedicated to Stone Masons only cause I plan on making one just for the Stone Masons just for a ton of emeralds so I can make a beacon?
Also what armour trim is your favorite currently?
If you haven't watched my Iron Farm video yet from last week, do it! I set up an Iron Farm for trades with Smiths to trade Iron for Emeralds. And then Masons to trade emeralds for quartz. You could also use those masons to trade other items for your circumstance. Worth checking it out in my opinion.
