I’ve just got my first Harley a late 84 xlh1000, does this drain the gearbox as well as the primary? If so I’m assuming that filling also transfers through to the gearbox somehow? Thanks, Jez

      82. I think 20w 50 is generally what everyone uses all around

You're supposed to us the side of a 1/2 inch wrench for those plugs to keep from messing up the plug.

LMFAO okay so I just went to change the primary fluid on my newly aquired '79... no big ass nut head... I have a short threaded rod pressed inside a lil rubber tube, that is then pushed into the threads, and it's all tightened with a nut on the bottom to expand the rubber... fuck me!!! And jeez does this thing know how to foul a plug.. praying it's just a carb issue and not have to do top end.
