@Li F Well yes, it would initially reset your cosmetics. I don't really think it would be that hard to implement but it would take some effort to accomplish. Obviously I would like them to get the game full optimized before attempting it. But just the way they currently have preset 1 and 2, that could be replaced with a list of map names and it would allow you to customize your character for each map under the restricted circumstances. For example you could only pick from all of your winter outfits that you have unlocked on Foy but summer clothes wouldn't be an option to pick from. I've been waiting forever for a game to attempt this. It would actually encourage me to buy more cosmetics in my opinion.

Even though it was a shit time for our people its nice to see the devs of Hell Let Loose adding more factions into the game. Really interesting info about the AT rifle using a round with a lead core. It would be a great feature to have these weapons deal damage against the actual tank crews inside, eventually killing them rather than blowing the tank up as all AT weapons eventually do now.
Part of the trick was to hit the ammunition within the tank and set it on fire. But yes - it would be cool to have this variety, that instead of always blowing it up, one can decimate the crew on occasions.
Well that would not work unless we would have realistic crews like eg. 5 men crew for Tiger tank, otherwise where would be the hitbox for the gunner? On a loader or on a gunner himself? If on a gunner, shooting in the position of a loader would be futile and so on. In my opinion it would be bad, what is more - these days sometimes it is hard to get 3 man crew.
Polish army got a lot of Mosins converted to 7.92 Mauser, and there where tens of thousands Lebel's, Bertier's and Chauchat's machine guns laying around since 1918. This can be added to the game easily.
I don't think you need to worry about not seeing the PIAT, Wouldn't be so sure with the Boys AT rifle. I would also say it would be nice if the devs added the panzerfaust and Panzerbusche for the German army.
They should 100% do both, the PIAT is a given, but i want stuff like time restricted weapons/armour to make stuff like the boys and ptrs more viable against tanks (e.g panzer 1’s and 2’s on polish maps, meaning AT rifles would be more effective rather than trying to take a panther down with them
I'd LOVE a Operations themed Campaign from BF1 for this game. It'd work perfectly with having multiple fronts (Eastern Front including Polish vs Germany/USSR, Finland vs USSR and the USSR vs the USSR) and a Western Front (US/UK vs Germany). The campaign would obviously progress through however each round would go and end at the later based maps.
I believe Black Matter (the previous developers) had planned something like that, but I’m not sure if Team17 are planning to bring something in like that.
Good job saying words. Also interesting thing about at rifle is that soldiers often tought it was ineffective as tank they shot was still advancing however first shot often killed driver who simply stayed in position that he was when driving. Also during uprising there were Kop-Pal smgs that were second most common underground smg and they were higher quality that błyskawica as parts were made in pipe factories without anybody knowing and it was also based on sten before Polish underground got hands on sten

I beg for Italy in every single WW2 game I play. Most games only ever give u two of the axis powers (Germany and Japan) or just Germany the Italian stuff is super slept on. Poland is such a great of fresh air and The Winter War is so far outta left field but is so extremely cool I can’t wait
@@Ywthg5w6gwvyw Ik what u mean but not really Finland didn’t have any kinda pact with the axis. Technically speaking The Winter War is an entire other conflict which is why I think it’s so cool we’re getting them.
As for the SMG wz. 39 then I have ambivalent feelings BUT in Post Scriptum France has MAS-38 which was actually produced in VERY small quantities until the German attack on France in 1940. It was only after the occupation of France by Germany that mass production of this SMG began. In pre-war Poland, the police used Thompsons M1928 and Finnish Suomi SMGs and during the September Campaign all resources were mobilized. Interestingly, Finland used Polish anti-tank rifles in the Winter War which they got from Germany, which they captured from Poland in September '39'. When it comes to the LMG, Poland had in addition to the equipment in addition to the wz. 28 (which in Poland we classify as a "handy machine gun") German LMG Maxim 08/15 which is the equivalent of the M1919 Browning. Second line units also had some Chauchats (of course also converted to Mauser :D). On the issue of snipers, Poland produced an experimental batch of sniper scopes but did not manage to introduce large-scale sniper rifles before the outbreak of war. We certainly had some WW1 Sniper Mausers in storage. Alternatively, an ordinary "long" (wz.98) Mauser with ironsights for the sniper could be used. We also had some Mosins (captured from Tsar's warehouses and during the 1920 Polish-Soviet War) that we converted to Mauser rounds - they were used by second-line units. As for the HMG, apart from the CKM wz. 30 we also used Russian Maxims 1910 and French Hotchkiss - both also converted to the Mauser cartridge.
As a polish person, I'm crying. It's the most cleanest pronunciation of polish words by someone who is foreigner that I ever heard. If not the fact that game costs 150PLN I would buy it.

Technically speaking, Finnish Suomi KP-31 can be used as a submachine gun for Poles. In early 1930s Polish police imported around 100 copies of it and Suomi seen some very limited action in 1939 as Polish army's weapon.
Not sure if they were available in large enough numbers to be just added as an SMG option for the Poles. Same with the Mors SMG or the self-loading rifle 38M.
wow, I'm Polish and I'm really impressed with your pronunciation. By the way, I was amused by these inserts with reconstruction boys with markers above their heads. Good idea. Thank you for a good movie, as they say in Poland. Z życiem ;)
Thanks. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. The markers are squad marks for different player roles like squad leader, rifleman, machine gunner etc from the game Hell Let Loose. Polish forces are being added in December to that WW2 game.
Actually Mors was issued to 3rd Rifle Battalion and 39th Infantry division - if action is set in Warsaw then it could be used by commanders Kbsp wz. 1938M only recorded use was by designer Maroszek himself - however all of them were produced in Warsaw, so it could be issued to commanders if action is set in Warsaw Polish "Mosin-Nagant" was a Kbk wz. 91/98/23 (and improved versions 91/98/25 and 91/98/26) it used German ammo. They were obsolete but issued to Border Guard and Reserve troops Kbk wz. 98a could be issued to Anti-Tank Battalions. In case of machineguns we had classification of Machineguns: RKM, CKM and NKM - Ręczny (Literally: "Handy" or "Manual". You can classify it as LMG), Ciężki ("Heavy" stationary bipod Machine gun) and Najcięższy ("The Heaviest" completely stationary and usually mounted on tankettes). For typical infantry squad it would be used RKM Browning wz.1928. CKM wz. 30 would require manual deployment or it would be placed in bunkers Standard pistol would be wz.35 Vis. - Nagant wz.30 was issued only to police Poland also used Stokes Mortar designed as Wz.18 and Brant MLE 27/31 designated as Wz.31 - Grenade launcher is a different type of weapon, don't think about it as Mortar replacement Lebel and Berthier rifles could be also used as they were in stocks for reserve troops. I heard that some Mannlichers were issued to Police but there's needed a source. Polish weaponry was a mess after 1920 I would link there a few sites with the weaponry and grenades from this period but UA-cam will delete them, since bots are only allowed post links in the comments Also you nailed Polish pronunciation
Hey, Super film and I am very happy as a Pole that there will be Polish forces in 1939 and I hope they will do it well as there is a defensive war of 1939 / September Campaign in a small number of games. You mentioned a lot of exact things, but I want to add that the officer and the commander could have wz.34 sabers and ordinary infantrymen with wz.29 or wz. 1898 they could be given bayonet bayonet because the Polish Army of '39 was pretty well trained in hand-to-hand combat and bayonet combat (by certifying that future wars would be like WWI or trench wars where you had to fight with bayonets)
There is a really great story of how the inventor of the self-loading karabin was in a Tram while the Germans were invading Warsaw. He had the prototype in a case, got it out and started shooting at the planes above from the Tram
1:07 This is not the only submachine gun (in Polish pistolet maszynowy - pm) that could appear for Polish commanders in 1939. Purchases for the Polish Army (including military gendarmerie and for the gendarmerie of the Border Protection Corps - in Polish Korpus Ochrony Pogranicza - KOP) and the State Police (Policja Państwowa - PP): pm Thompson model (in Polish marked as wzór - wz.) 1921/3 and 1928 and pm Suomi. An interesting piece of information is that the pm Thompson wz.1928 purchased in 1936 was supposed to have a caliber of 9 mm, not 11,43 mm. 1:40 In addition to kbsp wz. 38M, there were earlier prototype versions of self-loading rifles, unfortunately delivered in small numbers for tests to the army, such as: five-round 8 mm kbsp wz. 21, based on the Mannlicher M1888/90, kbsp wz. 37S. In 1936, the Armament Institute of Technology (Instytut Techniczny Uzbrojenia - ITU) purchased one copy of the Thompson semi-automatic wz.27 for testing. 3:04 In first-line linear units kbk wz. 29 was the shooter's main weapon, the second-line units were dominated by kb wz.98 and kb wz.98a. Third-line units and National Defense units (in Polish Obrona Narodowa - ON) were equipped with 8mm guns wz.1886/93 Lebel. 3:37 Sharpshooters, according to the regulations, were equipped with kb wz. 98, kb wz.98a and kbk wz.29, selected in the course of production, distinguished by accuracy and defined as sniper rifles. In addition, some of the kb wz.98 was adapted to mount German Hensoldt scopes (in smaller numbers Voigtlander, Busch, Zeiss), and kbk wz. 29 and kb wz.98a Polish PZO scopes (released in a small test series). The equipment of the Polish orderlies in September 1939 is a contentious issue, according to the accounts of the participants of those fights, even a member of the cast of the wz. 28. According to the standard, the medical section consisting of the commander of the medical section and the first patrol, the commander of the second patrol and four stretcher-bearers were armed, in accordance with the convention, only with small arms (pistols caliber 9 mm Vis wz. 35, Browning FN wz.1903, Steyr wz. 1912, to a lesser extent, the Lebel wz.1892 revolver). 4:07 In the support section, as a team weapon, the main weapon was the rkm wz. 28, in second- and third-line units and ON units, the following appeared: lkm 7,92mm wz. 08/15 Maxim, rkm 7,92mm wz.1915 Bergmann and rkm 7,92mm wz.15 Chauchat/Chauchard. 5:46 There were no snipers in the Polish Army in 1939, there were only sharpshooters like full-time members of the shooting team. 5:56 Nagant revolvers wz. 1895 and basically its Polish modification wz. NG 30 and wz. NG 32, used by the State Police, the army used Lebel wz.1892 revolvers. 7:38 In September, 9 platoons of flamethrowers were mobilized, they were equipped with post-German flamethrowers WEX wz.17, and flamethrowers of Polish production: W.S.1, W.S.2 and wz.34. The best-documented flamethrower platoon fought as part of the Warsaw Armored Motorized Brigade. P.S. Many interesting Polish armaments that were used, developed but not implemented and delivered (from domestic and foreign deliveries) due to the outbreak of World War II are poorly described by Western publications, if you have the opportunity, look for information about them in the Great Lexicon series Weapons (in Polish Wielki Leksykon Uzbrojenia).
The battle of Danzig's Polish Post Office should be good if designed well. German (adjective) made several attempts to take the main building, which could be represented by objectives that need to be taken like it works currently in warfare. The difference will be in a smaller map and more 'granular' cap points such as: courtyard, punching through the main building's wall, cellars etc. followed by soon-to-be-traditional shooting of surviving defenders!
Great video, didn't know they are adding polish forces to the game. Kinda afraid that it's just gonna be polish forces in exile, using foreign weapons. I'm pleasantly surprised that you not only tried but also succeeded in pronouncing Polish names correctly. Most creators would half-ass it, avoid it or invent something that hardly sounds like the name. Thanks for sparing me from the cringe!
I’m not sure what the wider plans are for Polish forces. It would be cool to get Polish unit cosmetics for maps like Monte Casino or Arnhem in the future as there were Polish units fighting in the British Army but Battle of Danzig should be Polish 1939 forces. Although the actual battle was fought between Polish postmen and German paramilitary forces.
i wonder if finns will have tank squads. from my knowledge, finland didnt have tanks in winter war (i might be wrong). if they dont, maybe the devs could give them like 4 recon squads or maybe 6 ski squads? that would be amazing
I hope Finns get ski troops but it would be a radical departure in both map design and game mechanics just for one troop type. Maybe only recon would get it. Also, Finns should have many roles that have molotovs available which could serve as an effective anti-tank weapon but only if the molotov lands on top of the engine compartment. They would have a massive positional/terrain advantage against the Soviets but no tanks
If they do have tank squads, it'll probably be captured t26s or bt5/7s. Although these weren't used in large numbers so it'll definitely be interesting how they solve this
150 wz.38M where a pre-production run after improvments where proposed on original protoype (sadly lost to history) which knocked all other competitors out of the park. Main impruvments where unification of parts with wz.1928 BAR and single captive pin disasembly (which is a feature rare today as M16/AR15 platform features Two pin dissasembly). Preproduction series are usually final step before wider addaption, generally focused on ironing out kinks from the desighn, so the thing you said it being a prototype was wrong. Adoption trails where to be started at the begining of the spetember 1939 and by the word of one of the moust respeced people in gun centric interent "there are no things i can see which would prevent it from passing that trials". Althoguh you are right about MORS being prototype-ish (and very bad one at that), all wz.38M needed was final adoption from polish army as they got method of production down (based on no obvious manfacturing diffrences on the surviving examples), while (as afar as we know) MORS had many diffrences between the examples.
fun fact. Development of wz.35 UR anti-tank rifle stifled development of future semi-auto rifle for polish army, as first prototype was provided by Moarożek (main designer of wz.35 and wz.38M) during final stages of development of wz.35. Only becouse of that fact Marożek was allowed to submit a re-desighn at the later date which pushed pre-production and final trials on pre-rpoduction from early 1939 (propably april/may) to september of 1939. This sadly was common occurance as moust of polish weapon development was hinging of couple of briliant individials like Marożek or Jeży Dombrowski -Propably first peson who discovered laminar-flow wing in 1934 during modification of Pzl p.11 to version C which would later turn out to be moust popular fighter in central europe. He had similar story as Marożek as he couldn't really submit any fighters with wing of his desighn due to being lead constructor on PZL 37 laminar-wing bomber and being freed up from that responsiblity only in early 1939. Sadly he wasn't able to finish work on his desighn (PZL.55) as his desighn bearly completed wind-tunnell tests as he was forced to stop his work.
Polish officers didn't use smg's only ViS pistols or private handugun they owned. Polish police had some Thompson M 1921 i 1928 and Suomi smg's. Maybe they could be added to the game. The most popular Polish rifle was Karabin wz.98/wz. 98a (they were based on Gewehr 98) more than 300'000 were used in 1939. wz.98 was heavier and longer than wz.29 so it should be used as a sniper rifle, although it was more common with regular infantry. There was also cavalry which used wz.29 and wz.98PWU
I don't think Hell Let Loose will go full historical by limiting rare weapons or not having them all due to low numbers. The reason for this is how USSR maps were handled, if you pay attention to the timelines in real life, Stalingrad allows Germany to be more powerful than in real life, they have access to the STG. 44 which didn't exist and they can use the Tiger, Germany had zero access to heavy tanks during that battle. Though I am excited for Japan to be in the game, I'm worried they will have access to rare weapons they simply wouldn't be using, the easiest example is the Type-100 and medium tanks, most of them that were used were sent into China or kept in the homeland for defense.
Huh, I just came to a realisation I know nothing about my own country's equipment from WWII, good work school. The only weapons I saw were the Błyskawica, the Polish BAR, and the pistol. And I was so convinced we just used Mosin Nagants as the main battle rifles but I guess not. It would be ultra fun to play the Warsaw uprising in Hell Let Loose with a weird mix of weapons, maybe low ammo count, and maybe with some set spawn points all around the city. Can you imagine how fun it would be to fight your way to the other groups after seeing only your unit for the first 30 minutes of the game? Every team would have their own little story from the piece of map they were fighting at. I never knew I wanted something like this, but the way I see it, it could be very fun and unique map in the game.
I could see the polish maps be some short of hardcore mode because of the urban combats and tight teamwork needed for the German team due to the lack of automatic weaponry For the polish team they could have much more limited spawn tickets making every deaths really counts
Like this video if you want Team17 to create historically accurate Polish forces/maps (no STG44 in 1939!)

Dude. You've really killed it with the Polish pronounciation. Im impressed.
You nailed the pronunciation perfectly!
Dziękuję
I've just come across your video. I'm also Polish and I'm really impressed by your Polish language pronunciation. Very good job.
I need to say, you are reading prety good in polish, I am impressed
Good job saying words. Also interesting thing about at rifle is that soldiers often tought it was ineffective as tank they shot was still advancing however first shot often killed driver who simply stayed in position that he was when driving.
Also during uprising there were Kop-Pal smgs that were second most common underground smg and they were higher quality that błyskawica as parts were made in pipe factories without anybody knowing and it was also based on sten before Polish underground got hands on sten
This video gets a like just for the effort put into pronouncing the Polish names!
I really appreciate the effort You put into learning how to pronounce polish words correctly.
Props!
Thanks! 😃
I never heard a foreigner, who pronounces polish words so accurately. Shocking. Thanks for the video, good job. Waiting for polish and finnish army in HLL :)
I’m sooo happy to see more unexplored areas of the war and since we’re going year by year it would be lit to see the Chinese vs Japanese or Greeks Vs Italians. I’m so happy to see this game grow and eventually seeing my Marines pushing through the islands !
I beg for Italy in every single WW2 game I play. Most games only ever give u two of the axis powers (Germany and Japan) or just Germany the Italian stuff is super slept on. Poland is such a great of fresh air and The Winter War is so far outta left field but is so extremely cool I can’t wait
@@loganwilson4625 you can kinda count Finland as axis.
@@loganwilson4625 same man
@@Ywthg5w6gwvyw Ik what u mean but not really Finland didn’t have any kinda pact with the axis. Technically speaking The Winter War is an entire other conflict which is why I think it’s so cool we’re getting them.
I am from Poland and I am impressed how well you did handle polish names of guns :)
Gewehr 98s were also produced in Poland, could be an alternate longer rifle.
@@waterbottlewaterbottle1754 Yes, as a "Karabin wz. 98"
I'm waiting for Tanks like 7TP (Siedmiotonowy Polski) or TKS

Holy shit I was taken back by the pronunciation. And now I notice everyone else has been too. Nice work!
As a polish person, I'm crying. It's the most cleanest pronunciation of polish words by someone who is foreigner that I ever heard. If not the fact that game costs 150PLN I would buy it.
Nie płacz, mam polskie korzenie. Również ta gra jest świetna, warta swojej ceny, zwłaszcza że polscy mają zostać dodani

Dude, your pronunciation of polish words is impressive, well done
Z życiem ;)
Dobra, widziałem pozostałe komentarze... jestem w szoku, nie wiem co powiedzieć. :I
Miłego dnia
Thanks. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. The markers are squad marks for different player roles like squad leader, rifleman, machine gunner etc from the game Hell Let Loose. Polish forces are being added in December to that WW2 game.
Bonus points for "We, the First Brigade"
bro ur pronounciation is gold and ur responses in the comments are perfect polish
Zdziwiłem sie i jestem pod wrażeniem jak bardzo dobrze wymawiasz polskie nazwy :) Brawo
Actually Mors was issued to 3rd Rifle Battalion and 39th Infantry division - if action is set in Warsaw then it could be used by commanders
Kbsp wz. 1938M only recorded use was by designer Maroszek himself - however all of them were produced in Warsaw, so it could be issued to commanders if action is set in Warsaw
Polish "Mosin-Nagant" was a Kbk wz. 91/98/23 (and improved versions 91/98/25 and 91/98/26) it used German ammo. They were obsolete but issued to Border Guard and Reserve troops
Kbk wz.
CKM wz. 30 would require manual deployment or it would be placed in bunkers
Standard pistol would be wz.35 Vis. - Nagant wz.30 was issued only to police
Poland also used Stokes Mortar designed as Wz.18 and Brant MLE 27/31 designated as Wz.31 - Grenade launcher is a different type of weapon, don't think about it as Mortar replacement
Lebel and Berthier rifles could be also used as they were in stocks for reserve troops. I heard that some Mannlichers were issued to Police but there's needed a source. Polish weaponry was a mess after 1920
I would link there a few sites with the weaponry and grenades from this period but UA-cam will delete them, since bots are only allowed post links in the comments
Also you nailed Polish pronunciation
Damm boy, you really nailed the pronounciations. Gratulacje
This is the most accurate pronunciation i've heard from a foreigner in a while. Good job.
Mam polskie korzenie
Thanks for the extra info
The battle of Danzig's Polish Post Office should be good if designed well. German (adjective) made several attempts to take the main building, which could be represented by objectives that need to be taken like it works currently in warfare. The difference will be in a smaller map and more 'granular' cap points such as: courtyard, punching through the main building's wall, cellars etc. followed by soon-to-be-traditional shooting of surviving defenders!

Well done
I LIKE YOUR ATTENTION TO DETAIL. I subscribed.
Thanks for the sub!
As a polish person I applaud you for the pronunciation of the items
If they'll add working cavalry and TKS tankette I will absolutely buy Hell Let Loose
you are doing really well when it comes to speaking with polish accent. good job man i know it's hard :D

I would absolutely adore a map based on the warsaw uprising. A part of history that more people need to know about.
Which Warsaw Uprising :) ?
I am so excited, can't wait!!!
i want a game like this to depict the spanish civil war the weapon variety would be nuts
i wonder if finns will have tank squads. from my knowledge, finland didnt have tanks in winter war (i might be wrong). if they dont, maybe the devs could give them like 4 recon squads or maybe 6 ski squads? that would be amazing
Skiis for the bois! I need to do my research, I'll be honest I don't know a lot about Finnish armour in the winter war
@@IronHeartGamingYT same lol, I'll have to look into it too
I hope Finns get ski troops but it would be a radical departure in both map design and game mechanics just for one troop type. Maybe only recon would get it.
Also, Finns should have many roles that have molotovs available which could serve as an effective anti-tank weapon but only if the molotov lands on top of the engine compartment. They would have a massive positional/terrain advantage against the Soviets but no tanks
@@CrizzyEyes yeah
If they do have tank squads, it'll probably be captured t26s or bt5/7s. Although these weren't used in large numbers so it'll definitely be interesting how they solve this

Imagine the polish resistance being a better faction than the actual polish army.
I’d like both added to the game eventually
As a Pole i am impressed by your pronunciation
Im excited for the new factions, I wish they would add more axis powers though like Italy.
I’m sure they will
I totally agree. On a side note though I'm sure the Russians will count as an Axis team during the Winter War
It would also be cool if they added Romania or Hungary.
@@HighDiver5555 Finland would most likely an axis because it was later one and it would make sense to just copy it for future map
your pronounciation of polish words is very good
bro, im from poland and im impresed of how good you are pornuncing those words
Sadly he wasn't able to finish work on his desighn (PZL.55) as his desighn bearly completed wind-tunnell tests as he was forced to stop his work.
your polish pronouncination is pretty good! one of the best ive seen! i think i could even mistake you for a polack with a lisp
Game files already have British cosmetics (i.e. uniforms and helmets, no weapons though) so yeah keeping my fingers crossed for Polish forces.
The pronunciation has made me subscribe.... buttered or not, you tried! well played!
Trust me it wasn’t butchered 😉
Polish officers didn't use smg's only ViS pistols or private handugun they owned. Polish police had some Thompson M 1921 i 1928 and Suomi smg's. Maybe they could be added to the game. The most popular Polish rifle was Karabin wz.98/wz. 98a (they were based on Gewehr 98) more than 300'000 were used in 1939. wz.98 was heavier and longer than wz.29 so it should be used as a sniper rifle, although it was more common with regular infantry. There was also cavalry which used wz.29 and wz.98PWU
Your Polish pronunciation was pretty damn good! I study European languages and history and Polish is hard!
1:39 very nicely you said in Polish. Greetings from Poland :D
Best reason to start playing again
Nawet dobrze wymawiasz te Polskie nazwy. Dobra robota.
The pistols of the Polish army in 1939 were mainly ViS, German and Austrian pistols and sometimes weapons from the USA
I would like to see the STG44 removed from the Stalingrad map, along with tanks that shouldn't be there.
@@IronHeartGamingYT I agree, I would want HLL to be historical to a T but it appears they do want some level of fairness.
They should add QMT vs. Japan

Damn bud, honestly? Your pronouncing is amazing! Great job
I never knew I wanted something like this, but the way I see it, it could be very fun and unique map in the game.
theyll have to completely redo all the german tanks for these maps too which could be very interesting
Great pronunciation! You are natural :D
I'm so excited the poles are getting represented. Their troops we're screwed over, but they fought like lions
Bro can spell polish names better than I can
I could see the polish maps be some short of hardcore mode because of the urban combats and tight teamwork needed for the German team due to the lack of automatic weaponry
For the polish team they could have much more limited spawn tickets making every deaths really counts
First game where developers add Polish army to gameplay.
Great respect for them 💪💪💪
