To stay hydrated I would suggest to always keep close a full bottle of water or a thermos of hot tea/beverage so even when you're lazy and you don't feel like getting up it's there and believe me you will start to drink more if you have it accessible easily and constantly. Living on your own is the best. Doing what you want when you want is so liberating. If you don’t feel comfy gardening, get a pot, dirt and a tomato plant you will be hooked!

Vlogs are nice when you live alone as they make it feel like you are having full conversations or just casually chatting with someone else! So as someone who has lived alone since 2014, keep em coming!!
It can be hard sometimes and the feelings of loneliness will eventually creep in occassionally. But, overall I enjoy the privacy and my space a lot. If I was a big extrovert I would probably die of depression, but for a relatively introverted person it is very calming. Getting a pet is also amazing (got a dog a month ago).
@@mikemarek6243 I don't know anything about you, but many people who live by themselves feel lonely sometimes. To be lonely you don't have to confined to a cell. Don't know what you are referring to here. If you live alone and spent most of your days out working, socializing and your home is basically just a place to sleep, it's alright and these types of people almost never experience loneliness. If your job/life is more solitary and does not require you commuting somewhere (IT jobs, youtubers, online school,...) than it's only natural to feel lonely occasionally. That's what I was implying

I moved in to my little bungalow at the end of 2021 at the age of 34. A huge leap of faith with managing independently but with the help of some wonderful carers. I love it. Wishing you lots of luck in the next year at Hogwarts 😉 you’ll be grand x

I loved living by myself sooo much, I'm definitely the lone wolf type. My dad moved in due to his health so I take care of him full time and I am so grateful to have him here but I definitely do miss living alone
I know how you feel. I bought my house 2 and a half years ago, been living on my own the entire time. You have moments of loneliness but you do get used to being on your own and you can do whatever you want. When you want. Have fun decorating!

To touch of the questions you asked throughout: I also suck at staying hydrated. I just recently bought a Hydrojug. It’s a massive water bottle and it has been helping a ton! I just keep it handy at home and work and find myself drinking from it even if I didn’t know I was thirsty! I’ve been reading a lot lately to help with mental health! It’s a nice little escape! Where I live in the US we have harsh nasty cold winters so getting outside is nearly impossible for 4-5 months. Im so excited to watch more of your content and vlogs!! I used to be so bad at drinking the right amount and then i bought a 2L water bottle off Amazon and I fill it up every day and for some weird reason it gets me drinking the right amount, and funnily enough it inspired some of my work friends to get on as well and they found the same thing happened to them ! I lived with my mother who became disabled from a car accident. She passed by on december 2020 and I live alone for the first time in my life since that. There are good and Bad Times. It is great that you have some alone time if you want and that you can Do what you want to Do with Your place but it can also be lonely sometimes. I think you will get alone fine but I think it is great that you Do a vlog with this subject. Sometimes I have the feeling that nobody really lives alone this days. I loved this 🥰 just such a nice calm vid to relax to while I'm on a break at work. I'm glad you shared about your workout struggle. I had the same where I felt really good in 2020 but then more shutdowns and I started to lose the diligence in 2021. Then I just stopped going outside when winter hit the end of last year. I also work from home full time and it is hard to remember to just go out for good mental health reasons. It becomes something that's easy to push off so you can get a little bit more work done.
I Love these kinds of videos with you. It is cozy and relaxing to just hang out at your house and see you make your nest your own. When you first moved in I was so excited to see that but, as you said, you wanted to respect your housemates' privacy. Now you have the freedom to inhabit your whole space and putz around letting us share that softer slower pace with you. I still love seeing wizarding treasures but I Loved this video even more and am eager to see many more.

Listening to your vlogs in the backround while knitting or doing homework is one of my favorite things to do. Btw, i also have a problem with drinking to little in a day, so i usually keep a waterbottle next to me while i do stuff so that i don’t have an excuse not to drink it or to be to lazy to go and get some water.

How to stay hydrated: Well I also have had trouble drinking water but the past few months have been better basically at school (I’m in year 6) I just drink my water to like entertain me while I’m bored or the teacher is explaining something and at home whenever I’m on my iPad i always have it in my mouth. I also recommend to get a bottle with a straw in it or a mason jar with a straw I hope this helps 😊

hi Cherry, just a quick note - if possible let some weeds with flowers or wildflowers grow in your garden - they are great for bees and other pollinators, I get it it's not a look people want but even a bit of wildness can help :) you can also sow some wildflowers I believe and have a bit of a meadow for yourself :)

Wood ash is very usefull thing. Its the base if lye to make soaps. If you have smelly fridge a little bowl of wood ash will suck away the smell. And many other usefull use.
I've not long moved into my own place and can very much relate to jumping at every sound. A little suggestion, do you have pets already? If not, I would consider it! I rescued a cat a few months after I moved in and it has made a TREMENDOUS difference. It's definitely calming to have another little life in the house with you!

A tip on keeping hydrated, is to make a habit of going to the kitchen every hour or so, and it will come naturally. Also, carry around a water bottle or something when you are around town. What do I do to feel good? I use my older brothers tackle bag. Would recommend for rage filled days. Enjoy the space Cherry!

when I first moved out from my parents, I was positive my place suddenly had a neon sign on it reading 'Virgin lives here', and as it had two levels, it took me ages to sleep thinking someone had gotten in downstairs. I did that by reassuring myself I'd just checked downstairs and it was fine. I loved living alone but it had it's down moments.
It was fun. I recently became a solo home owner and am loving it. Everyone needs to experience it at least once. It's liberating. Dance in your underwear. Buy what you like and eat what you want. Enjoy your freedom! Love ya'😁🥰

Having a big thermos-cup beside my desk helps me heaps with drinking tea that stays warm untill it's gone. I don't enjoy plain water so this helps so much.

You could try getting a water bottle with the times of day that you drink water. To help motivate you to drink a certain amount of water by a certain time. Maybe put some fruit in your water to flavor it. I’ve heard that helps a lot of people. Loving this type of vlog by the way!

A tip for carpets, get Arm&Hammer baking soda. Just get a box, shake on to across all the carpet. Let’s set for a few minutes then vacuum.

Listening to your vlogs in the backround while knitting or doing homework is one of my favorite things to do.
Btw, i also have a problem with drinking to little in a day, so i usually keep a waterbottle next to me while i do stuff so that i don’t have an excuse not to drink it or to be to lazy to go and get some water.

How to stay hydrated: Well I also have had trouble drinking water but the past few months have been better basically at school (I’m in year 6) I just drink my water to like entertain me while I’m bored or the teacher is explaining something and at home whenever I’m on my iPad i always have it in my mouth. I also recommend to get a bottle with a straw in it or a mason jar with a straw I hope this helps 😊

hi Cherry, just a quick note - if possible let some weeds with flowers or wildflowers grow in your garden - they are great for bees and other pollinators, I get it it's not a look people want but even a bit of wildness can help :) you can also sow some wildflowers I believe and have a bit of a meadow for yourself :)

Wood ash is very usefull thing. Its the base if lye to make soaps. If you have smelly fridge a little bowl of wood ash will suck away the smell. And many other usefull use.

I've not long moved into my own place and can very much relate to jumping at every sound. A little suggestion, do you have pets already? If not, I would consider it! I rescued a cat a few months after I moved in and it has made a TREMENDOUS difference. It's definitely calming to have another little life in the house with you!

A tip on keeping hydrated, is to make a habit of going to the kitchen every hour or so, and it will come naturally.
Also, carry around a water bottle or something when you are around town.
What do I do to feel good? I use my older brothers tackle bag. Would recommend for rage filled days.

I’ve lived alone since I bought my house in 2009. Sometimes I wish I had a roommate. But then I realize, on my own, I can do what I want, when I want and most importantly, HOW I want! Enjoy your home, on your own!
I live with my boyfriend and we currently are renovating and living in the old house of his grandma. When she passed away, we bought it and started the renovations. But there's still a lot of work. Lots of luck in your space 💕

when I first moved out from my parents, I was positive my place suddenly had a neon sign on it reading 'Virgin lives here', and as it had two levels, it took me ages to sleep thinking someone had gotten in downstairs. I did that by reassuring myself I'd just checked downstairs and it was fine. I loved living alone but it had it's down moments.
It was fun. I recently became a solo home owner and am loving it. Everyone needs to experience it at least once. It's liberating. Dance in your underwear. Buy what you like and eat what you want. Enjoy your freedom! Love ya'😁🥰

About the water intake.
my tip is to fill a nice bottle of water every morning, and just take it with me everywhere I go. So it being around makes me hydrate often than I used to. Makes all the difference :) Hope it would work for you as well ❤️
Having a big thermos-cup beside my desk helps me heaps with drinking tea that stays warm untill it's gone. I don't enjoy plain water so this helps so much.

You could try getting a water bottle with the times of day that you drink water. To help motivate you to drink a certain amount of water by a certain time. Maybe put some fruit in your water to flavor it. I’ve heard that helps a lot of people. Loving this type of vlog by the way!
