As some of you know, at the beginning of 2022 I started a new chapter by living alone for the first time! I could finally make my house a home, adding my own personal style and tastes to the place. I started with the room I used the least, which ironically is now the room I spend most of my time in... and here it is! Enjoy!
I am obsesssssssed!!! You did so so well!!! Please come and makeover my living room in Ravenclaw style! 😍 the bowtruckle box is so cuuuute! 😭😭 and honestly I would attempt a hair straightener on a low heat on the plastic leaves. Just real quick and careful. If you ruin one leaf it’s not the end of the world and I doubt you’d ruin your straightening iron if you’re going quickly on low heat.
In my opinion, the best things in the room are cucumber chair, puffy sofa, logburner, circle carpet & witches bells. And a special respect to Cherry for installing the lights all by herself!
You could put Cursed Child in the Restricted Section 🙃 Beautiful room, it feels so calming with the green and the warm lights! 🌿 This mixture of home content, magic, and chill vlogs you‘ve been doing for a while now is honestly my dream 🤍
i love it woah it's so minimalistic (in a good way) yet comforting where you'd just want to read for hours during the day and relax with a movie at night

Love how this turned out! You did a great job putting everything together. It has a Hufflepuff common room feel. I wanted to let you know that I just washed my Ruggable rug for the first time and it worked great. Easy to wash and came out looking beautiful! Hope you enjoy yours!

Also, i think the fan on top of your wood burner is mainly to spread warmth through the room as well, blow it towards you, not only to show if it's hot. So jealous of the wood burner btw, my parents have one and i really miss it in my own place.

The log burner is so charming. I've only ever seen something like that in old historical homes. I think I saw one on 90 Day Fiancé once before. Definitely not something I've seen as a common thing in the states. But it gives it such a special touch.

I had a fun tip about the wood burner fan, in addition to showing if the stove is hot they also push the rising hot air away from the stove so that it circulates around the room! I live in Wyoming in the US and recently got one for my wood burning stove and it made such a huge difference in warming up the rest of my house! Thanks for creating the most warm and magical content 💛

I have a pack of cats so I can be away more hours everyday and I they sometimes follow on vacations, but sometimes it is tricky fitting into one's life and it is a sign that you are a great animal person when taking those things into consideration ❤️❤️❤️ maybe a cheeky plush niffler can fit the spot in the meantime? 😉
Love it OK. Bit of info on your thermal fan. These are designed to push the heat out into your room, rather than just allowing it to go up your chimney space. We have them on both our main fire and the shed fire.
Right? I got it from a shop called Whimsically in Scotland opposite The Lonely Broomstick - it was around £80 for an original piece of art! Expensive but worth every penny. I adore it.
First thanks so much for recommending Heartstopper recently, got to see it and am obsessed. As for the Spidermen films, I got a box set for Christmas of the Tobey /Andrew films and have bought the Tom Holland ones as they came out - the recent Spiderman is by far the best and you have to watch Morbius as it ties into the Spidey Universe (as do the Avengers films).
That’s hilarious; the word scraggly popped in my head right before you said it lol. Also that picture on the right looks like the original stairwell design that leads to the great hall in the first two movies; the area that later became the courtyard that leads to the viaduct and boathouse in the films thereafter. Your office tour video gave me ideas that I incorporated into my house and this video is no exception!
