  • Learn some super valuable techniques when it comes to Adobe Illustrator 3D design work in 2022, for this hyper-realistic pill.

Yes in todays Illustrator tutorial we make a medicinal pill, but you can use the teachings and techniques to make a variety of 3D designs in Adobe Illustrator. The tips can be translated over, once you learn how to use the new 3D bevel, extrude and inflate tools in Illustrator.
Remember though, that you must have the most recent version of Illustrator as of the recording of this video tutorial, April 2022.
The final 3D design worked out really well I feel. The realism is pretty good and the texture on the material effects looks awesome. It takes time and practice to get this type of work right, but with this tutorial I hope you will have fun working on Adobe Illustrator 3D designs in 2022 :)
If you found todays Illustrator tutorial enjoyable or useful, let me know in the comments section and drop a like on your way out. Subscribe to stay updated to all of my uploads and until next time, design your future today, peace

I've just started exploring 3D. I have to say that the general superiority of your tutorials (especially the tempo and completeness of the process) was essential here. Still- a year and upgrade later, Adobe managed to obscure some of your processes. Took awhile to translate but was easy because you explained what it was you were doing and why. I'm not a practicing graphic designer but rather a fine artist using vector and machine to further my end results. You are in the center of that intersection.
    Thank you.

Great, simple and very effective. I've played around with those render settings and I can attest to the fact that having your object too large will certainly slow things down drastically, but the higher settings do make a dramatic difference.

I'm just learning Blender right now so this is a very exciting new feature to see. It's interesting to see that Adobe is slowly but surely integrating 3D elements into all their programs. I wonder if there will be a possibility to import 3D objects into Illustrator as it is possible to do in Photoshop in the future.

@@VisualStory-Teller You can already do that. You can make a 2D path in Illustrator and then extrude it in Blender to make a 3D object or in any other way you would use paths.

Hello, I know that I don't know the blender and illustrator at all, and my question is very very basic, but I really appreciate someone will teach me, and correct me, thanks a lot.
should I call this blueprint or layout in English or other correct name, Illustrator is the possible software to make this spec drawings?
    drive.google.com/file/d/15BPVuFlTclaOPh6tcU-eE4gV4WoMumBC/view?usp=share_link
I guess this is from blender, or at least Blender is a software that could make this rendering picture?
