Seen that coming as soon as rob appointed him as president. Really sad the direction prime is moving. I’ve decided after I finish this lease in January I’m out. Going to Walmart for better pay and benefits, not to mention more hometime. Keep up the videos, still enjoying them 👍 stay safe 💯

Sadly it's true... I just got a call from one of the fleet managers today. I've been waiting for a TnT trainer for 2 weeks and just got matched today. He told me that basically lease Is mandatory and that I'd I wanna go company I'd have to sit on the wait list

Man I’m so glad I left prime few months ago. Found local company in Cali making more money hauling Double flatbeds than I did leasing with prime and hell of a lot less stress. Prime has gone down hill so fast in the last 2-3 years. When I was there I always recommended students to go company first before going lease. Either way I’ll be waiting for Prime to eventually go under.

So glad I got out of leasing when I did. I was only there a year and a half and left when I noticed a decline in my paychecks and the BS that was about to come. I now just got a job as a OTR driver making $1.10 a mile! Much happier so far.

Prime wants to be a truck dealer more than a freight moving company. Last I heard a bit before I left in June, prime only had about 10% company drivers. Many of which who were making more than lease drivers.
Prime wants lease drivers cus you don’t have to offer any benefits and you get to take whatever you want off the load you offer. And they prob charge more for the truck than it’s worth.
Prime being a good employer is the biggest scam in the trucking industry

And another thing I just thought of. Every Friday we pretty much have the head of every department at prime attend the “safety” meeting. Except for who? Thats right the appointed president of the company aka the head of leasing. He has only made one appearance that I’ve seen. Now that he is the president of the company why isn’t he there every meeting? It’s kind of a slap in the face when every other department head is there but him. Just goes to show the direction prime is heading and it’s a shame.

It's seems to me that Prime needs to restructure the pay scale for lease trainers. Obviously, the current one is keeping good and capable lease ops from training. Company drivers will soon be making more money as trainers than the lease ops did. I feel Prime should be responsible for their employees pay including claims towards truck their employee caused. It's such a lopsided system where the Lease Op is responsible for everything for the "privilege" to train. Just paying their employee salary would encourage lease ops to train.
