You selling the fridge, you already got that Peterbuilt and probably already on the road rolling 😂😂. I knew the moment you sat Down to eat. 😂😂 That thing cleannnnnn.
Bro run it up! I love leasing. They make sure you eat even after the truck payment etc. I got 11 months left and my truck will be paid off! Too easy man!
M brother if it makes financial sense and you comfortable with it I would get the Pete because of the warranty and the perks that come with a new truck but the other side is how much will it cost if you lease the big bird and if it needs more work all I can say that you know how much you can spend without digging into financial purgatory be blessed and stay safe and always prayerful and keep the videos coming
Freightliner. You want a truck that just wants to haul freight. Get a nice car for home, but a work truck for work. Freightliner have lower maintenance costs and any licensed mechanic can service them. You want those wheels moving. A stationary truck is just a depreciating asset.
Although I love Freightliner, they're mass produced, which means they're not put together anything but quick. Also, to get an appointment at Freightliner for any work, it could be weeks or longer. The Cascadia is what we call a "throw away" truck. It's better to get a truck that is not as highly mass produced, like Peterbilt, Western Star, certain Freightliner trucks, etc. Cascadia, Volvo and Prostar are the worst trucks you can buy because of how fast they get made and shipped. I've driven many Cascadia's in my career and I do love just about everything on them, especially the 2016-2017, I've had many, many issues with them, as has everybody I know.
@weirdfan88 Yes, the newer 5700XE Western Stars are not like they use to be. Before they came out, Western Star trucks were designed and built with O/O's in mind, while the Cascadia was designed and built for mass production for larger carriers with company drivers in mind. It's why you didn't see many Stars at the garage but the Cascadia's were lined up for repairs. I do like both as they're both made by the same company but with different people in mind. 1 is a long term truck and the other is a throw away truck.
i was so excited watching you get excited. my wife was cheering you on to get the new truck. enjoy young man and enjoy your future. dale and chuchi in cebu city
That Big Peterbilt or a Kenworth would definitely be my choice of semi to roll with! I'm almost 100% sure I'm going to give at least 6 months to a year to Prime to learn the OTR business side of trucking. More than likely a walk away lease, then I'll be ordering a truck of my own.
If you fear your pester built breaking down check the background on the truck and make sure it dosent have a bad background and is fairly new so you know you’ll have some years before it breaks down
Love that grey Pete bro that bih hard and I feel I had a Pete I just bought me a freezer/cooler of Amazon for like 2sumin and kepts it in the front seat
Bro I don’t know who told you the Pete’s are always breaking down but I haven’t found that to be true, maybe it’s the way Prime specs their trucks. I had a new one and it had been updated so the dash never froze and the Cummins was flawless BUT ultimately the decision is yours. If I was in your shoes I’d want another truck especially if the price for a new truck is the same as one with 169k miles on it but again the choice is yours and you’re the one that’s going to be driving it. Good luck to you and I enjoy the videos.
@@VezOnTheRoad Hey U! I want you to know that I am extremely proud of you and everything you are able to accomplish in this time of your life. Continue to be the example all young men should strive to be like❤️😊YOU WINNING!!!
Hey Vez as a lease purchase with prime are they going to allow you to choose your loads from a load board or they just send you loads that you might be interested in?
@@VezOnTheRoad what you mean not doing lease purchase lol I’m confused. Isn’t this what the video was about or prime does there lease program a lil different.
@@Ampboii18He has to start as a "walk away" lease. After that, he can put money down and become a lease purchase. I have, what is called, a walk away lease purchase. I have the choice to either walk away or buy the truck out right at the end of the contract.
In school to get my cdl I already have my permit and was thinking about coming to prime but, seems like every prime tanker driver is saying there are no trainers available 🤦🏾♂️ , so idk really know what company to drive for at this point.
Im a huge fan of your channel, not thrilled about you leasing or being with Prime. I respect your hustle and attitude n perspective. I feel you could have gotten hired at other tanker companies n made more money n still be a company driver. Ive learned alot from your videos.
in the long run any truck you buy and run more and more miles on is going to have some kind of mechianical issue at some stage regardless of what one you buy. you started off like "i dont want no pete, then you see the pete, "daaaaaaaaamn this is nice" 😂😂
There isn't any. It's the same as a car. You get the truck, make payments (which pays off the truck) and at the end, you gave it back to them and they sell the truck and keep all the money. With a lease purchase, which he's nit doing, you pay the amount over the contract term and then have the option of buying it out or giving it back and doing it again with a different truck.
@@jeffreycairns767 Ok so if you don't lease you have a truck for free basically or you need to pay something at prime? Because if it's free for me I don't see any gain to purchase lease.
Dude, I know you dont like listening to my advice but as someone that had a 2023 Peterbilt, theres absolutely nothing wrong with them. The only thing I'd watch is whats in them, as a motor. Peterbilt is your best option at this point. The company I lease/work for have Peterbilt 579's and I'll jump at one when 1 becomes available. They are great trucks and lots of room. Dont listen to the others that say not to. They may just be trying to keep you back. They are well worth it. TRUST ME!!!! Oh, but the top bunk does NOT go up any further. It will fold down but not up any further.
So, how much money have you actually made considering you dont keep the asset after you pay 3x the cost of it? -100k? I would not even consider this unless I was homeless, no other circumstance. Drivers dont realize the can hassle prime and get company dedicated positions (certain areas), requires saying the right things and being firm from the first interview. If your not in that area, walk away before you sign a lease.
Really bruh the pete beaat the national but its really about the price at the end of the day... Me give me a 2020 freightliner wit decent miles and im gone.... But definitely switch from the national

rofl. pay 3x the cost of that truck to not keep. Yeah great deal.
worst deal in history. litterally.

so what made you decide to go from company driver to lease op? do you recommend going company for awhile before leasing?
