It's different for different people. Personally, I don't care about the AMOLED display also the size is bigger than I thought at the time of buying.
So now I use it without any cover or screen guard to keep it lighter and to feel smaller.
Both my phone and tablet have the AMOLED display but I don't feel bad using LCD or LED displays on TV, Computer, and my sister's Phone.
@@TechConsumerIN mainly there is no use of amoled panel on smartphones cause their screen does not matter much...but when shifting to a bigger display ...things starts working differently,, mainly pixel density and resolution of a bigger display would matter practically whereas amoled panels are cherry on the top.and..ips lcds are also good to go with..

For note taking I prefer S7 FE and it will get 2 years of updates. Of which one would be a major update and the rest will be security updates and bug fixes.

It is less likely to happen but it does happen. The lowest price for S7 FE that I've seen on Amazon was ₹30,250. Plus if you get ₹5k on cashback for example then the cost will be ₹25k. But I cannot guarantee it of course.

Tab S7 Plus is a good choice at that budget and possibly you can even get S8 Plus if you increase your budget a little bit. If not available, you can look for S7 FE.

The price may decrease but no one can guarantee that and also the number of stocks available.
I like S7+ more in your situation but personally I wouldn't buy any S7 series tablet at the moment.
I would rather go with a 2nd hand or used S8+.
Also, while S7+ is better compared to S7 FE, you should decide for yourself based on your actual needs and requirements.

Going with the iPad would be a good choice but you also need to consider the accessories. The price will go up with it.
Otherwise you can go for any Samsung Galaxy S series tablet. It's mostly made in Vietnam.
The rest including iPads are mostly made in China.
But after using tablets for more than a year I can confidently say that the tablets are not a laptop replacement yet! Depends on your use cases though!

Buy any tab that supports HDR playback with an Amoled display. There are many in different budget segments nowadays. Also look at the peak brightness level if you want to use it outside in the sun.

While it does improve with updates, the current One UI in Tab S7 Plus is stable enough to run for 3-4 years without causing any issue. However, no one can guarantee that.

In your use case, you can go for any Samsung Tablet. Apple will cost you a lot more for a lot less based on what you plan to use it for.
1. Hows the tft display of tab s8..is it really bad compared to oled....do we can appreciable difference btw the two?
2. Does tab s8 really have overheating issue..how bad it is..does it heat even in normal task?
Unless you want to consume a lot of content or have been using an Amoled display, it won't matter much. It's definitely better but not necessarily required for everyone.
I did not face any heating issues but I'm aware that some of the users were facing heating issues. So I'm not sure about this one!

Tab S7 Plus is not a good choice now. Either go for other Android tablets such as Galaxy S8 series, S7 FE, etc. Or go for iPad. Please note that most don't like Apple products because they are expensive to own and manage. So decide based on how your budget is.

Hey, if you're only buying the tablet for note taking and media consumption then it should be fine for at least 4-5 years. You can go for S7 FE for the larger screen. S6 Lite is also not a bad deal but for note taking, larger screen is definitely more helpful. You'll receive one more major update i.e., One UI 6 and then security update for the next one year.

The recently released version should be 4/5 years. But it's never guaranteed, it always depends on the brand's promise and their commitment to it.

Dude Tab S7+ has the best combination of hardware and software at that price. You are suggesting to buy overheating 8 gen 1 Tab S8 with regular IPS display just because it'll get more updates, what's the use of updates? My android 9 can run all apps that I have on my S20FE 5G with Android 13.
Tab S7 FE is the worst, 4GB RAM, destroys the whole experience. Non OLED screen and almost same cost as 12.4inch OLED 865+ 6GB RAM TAB S7+. Tab S7 FE is a certified FAIL.
Nobody cares about app "optimization" on android tablets, if it works it works, no need to go for iPad and sacrifice freedom and practical usability.
And if you actually want app availability, then why are you recommending Android or iPads. You must recommend thin and light windows laptops that are available in the 55k-65k range that have Ryzen processors and NVIDIA RTX GPUs that'll destroy any android or iPad.
Buying Mobile OS tablets over 50k is a BIG WASTE OF MONEY. Stick to the best tablet options under 50k or buy Windows laptops or 2-in-1s.
1. Software update is not necessarily required but the security updates are extremely important depending on who you are or how you're using the device.
2. Not everybody needs an Amoled display. I didn't need it either but I wanted to try it.
3. At some point some apps stop working on older Android versions. So you should decide if the apps you use are fitting the Android version requirements or not.
4. A lot of people care about optimization, that's why iPad, Mac, etc. dominate the market. There are millions that just want their device to work seamlessly without any issues.
5. Tablet is not equal to Laptop.
6. Depends on why you're buying the device you're buying.

If you actually care about real work, buy a thin and light laptop. These days there are plenty of options.
If you want casual USE - Then no need to waste money on expensive tablets.
And speaking as someone who has been using Android since Android 2.2 Froyo, Android 13 will last a long long time before you have any problems with app compatibility.
Stick to apps from the Google play store and you'll not have any security issues and those who download apps from 3rd party sites, don't care about security. Plus Galaxy Tab S7+ anyways has Knox security.
My point is if you are buying tablet for casual use, buy a reasonably priced one. If you are buying tablet for serious use (not sure why?) , then get a windows 2-in-1 or a thin and light laptop.
The Tab S7+ fits the bill perfectly. Over 50k, Tablets are waste. Tablets and Laptops are different, but Laptops can do everything a tablet can do and much more.

You may need to use the battery saver mode or disable high refresh rate to go that long.
It's a large screen so it consumes more power.

Yes you can consider it. Software update is not that important unless you deal with some sensitive stuff such as banking or care about new features.
Overtime you may also face compatibility issues with some apps but that would be too long.
You'll probably get rid of the hardware by then. For media consumption and note taking it should be usable for at least five more years.

For watching video Tab S7 Plus is better for everything else you need, Tab S7 FE is more than enough!

Tab S7 Plus is outdated and will only receive security updates for a year at most. S7 FE is due for one major update and another year of security updates. Tab S7 Plus is valid with security patches for 1 year whereas S7 FE will receive 2 years of it.

I don't know about projectors and digital boards yet but tablets are good enough for your purpose. Please note that there are not many good video editors for Android so consider it before deciding. With iPad, you'll have access to very advanced software but you might have compatibility issues with your other devices.

It's the same but they both have a larger screen and the Tab S7 Plus display is better for the feel and experience of writing with the S Pen. Not such a big difference though!

Only downside is that you won't be receiving any software updates and security patches!

At that budget iPad is a great deal but personally I don't like the Apple pencil and it's charging position. And I'm guessing she'll use it a lot for note taking so it's a big consideration. I would go with the latest version of Galaxy S6 Lite with Snapdragon processor at around 30k.

It is available for all Samsung tablet devices and also on the fold devices as far as I know. However, it's in beta state at the moment. So, yes you can use it.

I was using ipad 7th gen earlier and it was great. After lot of thinking, I bought tab s7+ earlier this year. It works like a charm and is very well optimized in terms of user experience. Screen is awesome for media consumption (speakers are also great), multi tasking is easy and I use it often. No complaints as of now (got it for 45k rupees as couldn't find any better options in this price range).

If you're on the Apple ecosystem then go for an iPad otherwise Samsung is a better experience when it comes to note taking. Their S Pen is superior and doesn't feel like writing on a hard surface. It feels like writing in a notebook.
Also no need to charge for it to work. Except some non-essential features such as air gesture!

I'm looking for tab under 40K which is good for media consumption (Mainly UA-cam) and notes taking, I've used mi pad 6 recently and it's display is good but not impressive.
Apart from software upadtes, will S7+ would be the good choice for media consumption and notes taking?
Yes it's good for media consumption. Not outdoor use though. Only at home or place with shadows. Especially with HDR content the brightness feels very low.

iPad Pro will definitely win this race if we consider nothing else but the best tablet available in the market right now.
However as you're watching this video, I'm assuming you've budget constraints.
In that case, you can go with any S series Samsung tablet with the latest chip.
Please note that there's no way to edit videos on a professional level at the moment on Android tablets.
Although most of the editing can be done.
For example you can edit most types of UA-cam videos but certainly not HQ raw footage or scenes that require a lot of editing.

The video is about the problems that I faced personally with the Tab S7 Plus and why I don't think one should buy it at the moment.
Apart from that, everything else indicates that it's a great tablet and that's why I have bought it for myself.
The title and thumbnail is sensationalized as the video wasn't getting clicks and views until I changed it to the current one.

Don't think you should use Tab S7+ for the long term. Although it can handle what you're referring to.
My only concern would be security updates. So you can go with the S8 but you'll have to compromise in terms of display.
Depending on which is more important to you, you might want to decide it for yourself.
If you think you will not use the tablet for sensitive stuff or you're good at dealing with internet and security issues then Tab S7 Plus is not a bad deal.
Just be careful and mindful of any security flaws the current Android version might have and work around them.
At the moment, the latest Security Patch Level is July 1, 2023.

Guys I have s7 tab it overheat alot on gaming,web browsing and UA-cam, I'll agree that gaming is a task which is not a normal use for people but, youtube!?!? That's like everybody's use, buy apple tabs, those last forever, and are very good, they also overheat but after gaming for 2-3 hours, buy ipad

If bigger screen is important than S7 Plus is the choice to go with but you won't receive any security updates. It has already ignored 2 Android Security patches. The last one was on July, 2023.
iPad ecosystem is better than Samsung ecosystem. If that's important to you then go for iPad otherwise S8 is a great Android Tablet. However, I would also contemplate S9 FE and the S9 FE+ before making the decision.

Hi, to make it short, Tab S7 Plus will get no more updates.
Tab S7 FE is cheaper and has 1+1 years of updates left. Tab S9 series launched, so S8 series price will decrease further already.
So it would be better to go with the S8 series or other options.
