    Good morning Carol, how do we make the biscuit softer or maintain its softness? Commerical ones can be quite hard to chew . Thanks Carol

      This recipe yield a soft version of biscuits. Just make sure you don't over bake it too. Remember to enjoy it at least after 48 hours after baking for the best taste.

      You can try to reduce your oven temp. Usually crack is due to high heat

    What is golden syrup?

      Golden syrup or light treacle is a thick amber-coloured form of inverted sugar syrup made in the process of refining sugar cane or sugar beet juice into sugar, or by treatment of a sugar solution with acid. It is used in a variety of baking recipes and desserts. You can get it from baking supplies store or you can search for golden syrup for the recipe which is not difficult to make.
