Wow, this was so fun to watch! My 2-year-old was enthralled, but I, a 35-year-old mom, also found myself in awe of the meticulous cleanup efforts. Love your filming method too! You really let the operators and trucks shine. Thank you very much for all of your videos, but especially this one! :)
Every year, for the first weekend in October, The Chaseville/Santa Angela Area hosts 4 days of Unlimited-Class Hydroplane boat racing on the Manchester River. Restroom Trailers and Portable Toilets are there and Carolina Waste from the city of Charleston, SC came to the post-event cleanup services. Signed, Angela.
Thanks! It was a ton of fun! Nothing like getting to see a wide variety of trucks all working in one spot, with the riverfront scenery to top it all off!
That Wittke was fun to watch, and had great sound to it. Funny how small that pickup was for the carts, we would never get anything done with it haha. And am i seeing things right... is that a right side drive roll off?!?!?! Nice catch on the stinger too, hoping to see more of that. I am sorta surprised they didn't try to lego those cans though, what were they 3 yarders? One of our boom guys claims to have gotten 20 2 yarders in a load- granted they stack better because they're obviously smaller. And then there was the boom truck footage... all I'm going to say on that one is THANK YOU! Great stuff as usual brother
I'll always love the sound of that old Wittke, it's just a shame that the Curotto on it isn't nearly as fast as it used to be. That little pickup was initially just driven down there for someone to pull out and line up all of the carts for the Curotto, and then they loaded it up with carts before they headed in for the night. The normal cart delivery truck now is a full size box truck, and can definitely get a lot more done than the pickup lol! No, the roll-off was typical left-side drive, it was a team of two guys loading and unloading all the carts, hence the passenger. The boom truck was definitely a major achievement, that thing's been taunting me for years, so it was super cool to finally catch it in action! Glad you enjoyed!
No kidding! I've lived here in the Tri-Cities pretty much my whole life, so hello neighbor haha! It definitely was pretty cool getting to see such a massive clean-up operation!

wowed by the whitegmc of course, but actually that FL70 dumpster truck had me very fascinated! surprised myself wanting to see more of that. very nice job
Cool video! Lots of varieties of trucks! Is that Condor/Wittke Starlight/Curotto Can the same one you filmed in your "Death of a Garbage Truck" video? In that video, that truck was puffing out black smoke and it looked like it was near the end of its life. The ACX/Heil Freedom was probably my favorite, it sounded great, but the pickup with the forklift on the back and the boom truck were cool. The WhiteGMC Xpeditor roll-off was cool too. There must have been thousands of people with all that waste!
Bryn, what a great variety of trucks here! My absolute favorite is that 1989 WhiteGMC Xpeditor roll-off - that thing sounds just unbelievable! Please tell me you got a full video of that truck (with driving shots included)! I absolutely love that rig! That Cummins L10 growl is just addictive!

Nice footage I loved that old USA Waste Rolloff
Thanks! I got tons of video of the roll-off, so it will have it's own dedicated video in the near future! Keep an eye out!
Did you get any driving shots of the roll-off? If so please include them in the dedicated video of it - it just sounds incredible!

Glad you enjoyed!
Nice trucks
If I was there, I would not go to the event, instead I’d wait for this
Wish my city's Waste Management branch used a Front loading truck with a Cuotto-can system and a flatbed boom truck.

Dude, no lie I live in Pasco and I was wondering if you were gonna come down here to film since there were garbage cans everywhere at the boat races

Great video. Odd to see a frontload Comm truck picking up on grass. What happens after a good rain?
