- Here we have a few republic trucks picking up bulky waste in Willowbrook
(:0:00) - first off is a autocar ACX Mini McNeilus Rear Loader with a really nice crew!
(4:05) next is a scout truck that does the Cul-de-sacs so they don’t haven’t send the larger trucks in them.
(6:45) here is a autocar ACX picking up all the bulk from the Cul-de-sacks after the scout truck filled up.
(12:15) here is one of a few full size autocar ACX McNeilus RLs they send through the (practically one way streets because cars are always parked on both sides) the amount of bulk on these streets where crazy! This truck actually packed out after only 2 streets!
(22:00) here is another autocar ACX McNeilus FL but in republic colors, not to enjoyable that’s why there just a few clips!

The only problem I've had was with a stump from a small tree. It warped my blade. lol

Not easy work,that guy has to be in good shape to pick up and load that truck for hours on end.
The 2 men crew at 13:23 seems nice and while to talk to you as they work that’s cool...including you how many people are filming them? Do your friends have their own UA-cam channels also?

What's with the pickup truck, did the garbage truck break down?
Pick up trucks are used when there is not enough rear loader to cover the route, due to break down or any other reason .You pick up on scheduled day with whatever you have .

A party idea for you. Everyone brings there white elephant to one house. Everyone sits in the yard after putting $5 bucks in the pot. The first one who's elephant is taken wins the pot.PS not by a trash truck.

Damn that first trucks Republic logo is big af. Great video though digging that CDS colored fl. Those rearloaders would look better in those AW wraps. Hope they lose this contract to hope they leave LA soon. That Republic pick up truck is pretty fresh to. Hope you can go to some more of these.

I think all trash trucks should come stock with arrow boards. That way the operator can direct traffic safely around the truck.
That's a great idea. I'm a sanitation operator in a small town near were I live. Traffic is the number one danger in this industry

It's impossible with that much. Didn't you hear them say "We need more trucks and people! " Your more then welcome to take all the recycling you want as long as you don't make more of a mess. Around here all metals are gone before the clean up starts.
@@steveb6103 Just a small idea: Over here we got rid of putting bulk waste on the streets for pickup. For a long time, people need to bring it to a transfer station themself. That way you don't need that many trucks, and it can be seperated way more easily.
Also you're not bind at certain pickup dates, you can bring it whenever you want and the transfer station is open (usually most workdays and saturdays)

would just be easier drive or back the truck has the box on it up that dead end street then do 3x work with that pic up truck lol
How are they going to drive that pick up with all that stuff in it? Surely it will fall as soon as they take a turn.
They only drive it a short distance out of the cul-de-sac and then empty the contents into one of the full size garbage trucks. Either it's less efficient or unsafe to take the larger trucks into those narrow streets.

So this is why they use a pickup, heavy trucks not allowed on certain streets. So use a regular garbage truck this is a waste time.

Elke Schacht Die Leute nehmen das auf weil sie sich für Müllwagen interessieren, das ist halt ein Hobby für das sich manche interessieren. Auf UA-cam gibt es eine ganze Community, die nur verschiedene Müllwagen filmt. Ist halt speziell aber wenn man sich dafür interessiert warum nicht. Jedem das seine :)
