Awesome video and pickup as always! First hardoff DOES have some tempting stuffs like clear blue N64 CIB. Simcity 64 is really good pickup. I played once and it was really fun! And thanks to your video, I am planning to collect all The Convini series. I love simulation games and it seems real fun!
10:42 This is something fans want on modern consoles. So far we have a collection for almost every RockMan/MegaMan series. This one is one fans really want. There was also a demo for a third entry on the 3DS but nothing came to fruition and it was canceled. Imagine it getting a full release? That'd be exciting for sure.
12:06 It's only Jusco if it's clear black top and white bottom. The SN has to begin with NUJ1511 as well to be authentic. Based on the one here it's not a Jusco. Just a clear black. The cart flaps are white on the Jusco.
The pronunciation of the random text on the binoculars was spot on. What's the story? Do you speak Dutch? Because that's what it sounded like! Also, you should definitely play dragon quest. Eleven on switch is a good place to start
Yeah that's what I meant in the bootleg scene. It was around in South America as well which is how I knew it. I know a lot of the DVD players we had could play these but I've never seen a dedicated player before
I guess someone already explained the VCD's, in Philippines and other Asia countries plus the ones that i think people already said (HK, CHN) was kinda a hit, and still had been for quite a while (*), bootlegs versions or not, I remember seeing a movie that had the Rock, but i don't remember if it was the San Andreas movie or the rampage one, or skyscraper, and it was legit release from WB, the price and the humidity of asian countries makes vcd a good choice. And for some it was (i guess someone already said this) the only way to see HK movies, for example, in my case im from México and i have family in some parts of Asia (JP, HK...) and in the 2000's they send ne VHS with movies from thwir countries, but then it was eaiser to send me vcd, not just shipping but taxes too.
This is an awesome insight thanks for sharing. I remember VCD's from the bootleg scene in South America so seeing how it was used in other parts of the world is really cool.
There was actually an official manga of Spawn by Juzo Tokoro. It depicts an japanese-american teenager named Ken Kurosawa (lol) who becomes Spawn. That might explain why japan has a higher interest in Spawn that expected.
on moonwalker I imagine part of it had to be because he passed away. :( so I get it. also don't think I've ever seen that DQ mouse before, like I've seen the slime controllers but never that mouse!! its always fun to see the hard-off visits.
Its crazy how cheaper pokemon games are when your not in the typical tokyo spots. Sad i didnt have time to venture out so i had to buy some games higher price but next time i will 100% try to find them on the cheaper side
@@4amLaundry I never grew up in that era, but i did get a 64 from a garage sale and it was awesome, pristine condition. i didnt even know they came in cool boxes until later and i always wanted the boxes. thats why i keep boxes now when i can.
Oh right, the green lables are Junk items so they're not tested and/or working. They also don't come with any warranty. Broken loose Dreamcasts for this price are pretty common.
I'll do my best but I've been kicked out of both the Nakano Broadway and Akihabara Mandarake for filming/streaming. Especially their retro game section they're super protective of it for whateverr reason.
I really like the preview of each game. Make this video an excellent work. Subscribed.
Thank you! I wish I could add them to the live streams haha
@@4amLaundry keep up the great work.

Good luck! They're super common and cheap because they're heavy on Japanese but don't let that stop you, they're really fun
The Hard off theme jingle haunts my dreams 😂
Wassup dude, thanks for making my Saturday with this upload!
Livin the dream man! Im heading over for the first time next year for a few weeks. Cant wait!
Yes! Love to see you again!❤

Yeah I have all the Mega Man collections on Steam and they're awesome, would be dope to get collections of this and the EXE series
Always makes me excited when you post a new video!!
I will still follow your channel in 3 years when you will have to pull the trigger on 10000y games to complete the full set :D
There's a lot of N64 games way over 10k 💀
@@4amLaundry wanna see your pain :D
@@dotsMarcat that moment they are going to be 100K ¥ so, there's going to be more pain...

Fragment is like a Japanese street wear brand that did a collab on that DS. Great video bud.
Thanks! I found the Honeybee website but they sell all kinds of stuff so I couldn't really figure it out. Now I want the Hypebeast DS
My Grandma also told me to check the cable section 😂

Yes, he is a Dutch man, so that is why he can pronounce Dutch so well.
I'm half Dutch so it's my first language lol
Also idk why I said that? I played IX on the DS and it was awesome 😅
Video CD was huge in Asia for most of the 90s. Pretty much everyone in China and Hong Kong had a player, it was the only way to watch Hong Kong movies

Cool video man.
I'm visiting japan soon which are some of the best hard-offs to visit near Tokyo an Osaka?
I'd say look for the ones 45min/1hr outside of those cities to be honest
Hi! Did you use some third app to know the price difference betweeen any hardoff or the historical low of a specific game? Thanks
Nah I've just been here long enough to have a good idea of what the average price is for what I'm looking for

In terms of MSX one to look out for is the bright red Sony HB 101 Hitbit Mezzo with a carrying handle and built-in joystick
I think I found one of those, should be on a thumbnail somewhere
@@4amLaundry that was an Hb10. Similar but lower end. Not as nice a design and without the handle, joystick and other extras

Yow actually didn't know that thanks for sharing!
Aye in what minute is the clear n64 of the miniature?
11:45
Thanks I must have missed it washing dishes!
4amlaundry is back in action get those games my man for the cheap ¥1000¥ and under get those SNES N64 Saturn PS1 PS2 and wrestling games
Late to ask but did you buy the MasterChief Halo box or is it still there?
4am uploads video, I watch said video

"What is blood doin?" JahajahA
Oh, if I could just reach through the screen, grab and pay for that Pokemon Green.
I've been looking for the Simpsons early seasons DVD set for a good price. I like when they have commentary from the crew.
Love your content, keep it up! I will SUB!

They're all creeping up in price wherever you go but yeah, outside of Tokyo it's still very doable to get the older ones.
Do they play the same music tune in all their stores?
It soo weird to see dutch binoculars in that store, that is random. Makes you wonder how the hell did it even get there
Yay let’s see what you found 😊
"and then this language" was german 😂😂
Makes it even more confusing
Haha I couldn't tell 💀
I see a 4amlaundry video... I watch the whole thing to completion, leave a like, and leave a comment 🤷♂

I went to this one last week, picked up Dino crisis for 500.
Yeah!
I need that Wii Koopa Controller! 😀 I'd happily pay you to buy and ship to Ireland
Are you Dutch? that pronounciation was pretty good :P
The hell is a video cd, also hearing 1500Y is too much for OOT is crazy compared to the prices I have to deal with 😂🥲
Yeah I was tripping though 1500 is fine for OOT I just gotta stop comparing that to like 3 years ago
why did so many people throw away the packaging for the n64 and below console games? thats if everyone threw away disc game packaging.
The cardboard cases were just flimsy I guess, Nintendo even made official plastic holders for the carts
@@4amLaundry still i wouldve folded them in and saved them. the boxes were so cool.
Yeah I kept all of mine as a kid too, some people just took a minimalist approach I guess lol

You're a great viewer 😤
You are awesome 👌 👏
Not surprised.. the overseas tourists have being buying up all the games and consoles to the point where pre owned stores almost or ran out of it..
2000yen for a Dreamcast? O_o Whats up with this low prices? Here a Dreamcast cost about 800SEK (12000yen)
Where in the video? Might have been a mistake

It feels like every Japanese game is 50% or more, cheaper then european games.
