Thats for the shoutout, man! Glad to see how your trip went down in a video! Cool pickups! Sparkster is a beautiful game! Also, I'm tempted to get that Sharp SFC TV... would definitely be a holy grail pickup!
Loved seeing the stock of Lucky Cat. So much great stuff. I was yelling at the screen when you were passed the mega drive games. Great pickups too. Bare knuckle 3 was a great price.
Great video! Always wanted to go to Japan, always loved retro games since My year 2 teacher introduced me to them with things like super Mario world and Monkey ball, Good luck on your adventures!
@@den_den_boys went to a trip there in Tokyo last week got some stuff in Akihabara and will plan to go to Nagoya in the future so a good peek in some retro gaming stores there, great stuff.
No second shop was near kyo-wa station outside Nagoya. 2 shops in close proximity there. First was was in Handa which took 30 mins by train then 30 min walk.
I really feel a lot of people miss the point of Super Potato and why they charge more. They normally just have everything, so if I'm traveling and only have like 4 days it doesn't make sense to spend a whole day traveling and going to 3-4 that may or may not have what you have. That's why I don't understand comparing the stores to Super Potato.. also you go to Mandrake if you really care about condition/rares stuff. Which is why they cost so much.
Yeah you’re right. Super potato and mandarake are the places to go if you’re looking for rare pieces and don’t mind the cost. More than likely you find it there
You said "59 dollars for Shububi Man" even though 5980 Yen actually equals 41.50 USD 😅 I dont understand how you didn't convert it properly seeing as how it appears you were living in Japan at the time🤔?

No worries dude. Hopefully we can do it together some time. You’d be crazy not to pickup that tv. I would if I could

Man there is so much I could have bought but was running low on baggage space and weight lol
@@den_den_boys there is always the next trip.
@TooHappyGamers you know it 😉

Very cool video, subscribed. RICHMOND RULES!
Those tigers were a good team for four years weren’t they
Beautiful. It´s like i stuck at 90´s :) Wish there was something like this in my country.

epic game hunting! I didn't know the ps2 came in purple lol.
Either did I. A friend told me it was known as the Sakura model
I see NEO GEO !! 3:50 🦾
There was some sneaky neo geo there for sure
Hello the second shop where is it? Near the first stop?

i need to go a bit more far out next time i go
Always a good tip to get out of the major cities a bit less pricey and more gems to be had
Had to sub. You were at 666 ! Great video!
You saved our souls
Did you notice you also filmed a Sharp SF1 @ 5:36 ?
Totally! It wasn’t till I watched it back that I realized they had one running the multi cart in the store. Totally caught slipping
Why was no purple PS2 released in the States 😢
Known as the Sakura edition so prob Japan only for that reason. So many variants Japan got the rest of us missed out on
What was the best store out of the bunch please?
Definitely the store near kyo-wa station
Looking at the cats beanie, I’m guessing you are Australian. Isn’t everything in Japan NTCS where AU is PAL??
Yeah mate Aussie from Brisbane.
Australia is a PAL territory but I have region free consoles and we also have many Japanese (NTSC consoles as well)
You said "59 dollars for Shububi Man" even though 5980 Yen actually equals 41.50 USD 😅 I dont understand how you didn't convert it properly seeing as how it appears you were living in Japan at the time🤔?
Yeah in comparison to AUD. We are about even with the yen or a little under
You walked right passed the no video sign, son.
These stores have their own UA-cam channel so they don't allow video recording.

That's their channel.
The name of most of these stores is Treasure Warehouse. Not Lucky Cat.
Wow really?! honestly innocent mistake I had no idea. I’m very respectful of rules in Japan so I feel bad that I filmed. Thanks for letting me know.
Yeah lucky cat is more the slang name. Japanese name Otakaru Soko correct?
@@den_den_boys
Yea otakara お宝 means treasure.
Good luck collecting.
OH GOSH I THINK YOU MAY BE REFERRING TO AUD NOT USD LOL. PLEASE EXCUSE ME FOR BEING RUDE!!
All good no offense taken
Need to pan slower. Your camera doesn’t focus fast so everything is blurry AF.
