Hey guys, I have it permanently set up in the front of the house aimed at the front porch hanging under the porch so can’t really attach the solar panel. Charged it up via usb and after 3weeks, the battery level is at 79% still! It catches every single delivery person coming and going like it should and not just going away! The app is smooth and never loose connection. It is a great camera!
That would make a good present to anyone with a phone .

I have a question o can’t seem to find in instructions or website. If I have the solar panel version, I’m the settings what do I select as a power source? If I choose solar panel only does that still use the internal battery? If I choose battery does that still use the panel as a charging system? I’m worried if I choose solar panel at night it will die out. What setting do you use to ensure best charging and guaranteed overnight recording?
You kniw what a remote drone clip from top race usa is and a 2 watt radio signal booster makes ?
It makes a parachute dropper . Cut a grocery bag bottom off to be the parachute and tape the strings on . Don't roll it up but don't waggle or the string stops the props . I think a ribbon piece in the fpv vuew to indicate a clean release

Unfortunately, this unit will NOT work with 5G wifi. ONLY 2.4Ghz wifi!!! . When I upgraded my wifi to 5G, this unit became totally useless. I contacted the company and they currrently have no firmware update for 5G compatibility unfortunately. So now I'm shopping for a 5G compatible solar powered outdoor security camera.
5g Wi-Fi is 802.11ac and 2.4g is 802.11n. What router do you have that it doesn’t support 802.11n?

I do see some postings that the KVD21 connects to some 2.4ghz devices but to some it doesn't. I was about to get one so thanks for this info I will stay with what I got for now. 👍👍
