I've heard of putting material in liquid starch to coat a wall. I've always wanted to try it, haven't done it. The idea was when you leave or want to change spray water on it to take down to wash or change fabric out.❤
For the terra cotta saucers with napkins mod podged on as candle holder... Be aware that hot wax soaks into terra cotta and if a candle burns all the way down, it can heat that wax soaked into the saucer to the point of explosion. Use a glass candle plate on top of the saucer.
I didn't even think of that! And a friend of mine told me how he learned that lesson the hard way when making those heaters out of terra cotta pots. Good job warning people. Both a caring and responsible comment.
A few of these I was left wondering what the heck they were thinking. I love crafting but there is an abundance of tacky stuff online. On the other hand, I have found some really elegant high end looking craft ideas on you tube. A couple right here in this video. Thank you for those. 😉
I used frosted spray paint on an old garage window worked well after decade it did start to look likeceggshell cracked from thr ectreme weather. Came off easily with orange oil paint remover.
Ive seen modpodge or elmers mixed with food coloring on bottoms of glass ware to give it a a see thru color ( of course this is then covered with a sealer so you can wash it) could you do this on the windows (not for privacy) just to make them look pretty or would it not work?
With the Elmer’s glue on the window, you will not be able to clean the inside of your windows. I would think that if you did try to remove the glue, it may be messy if the glue does not cleanly peel off.
If the glue doesn't peel off cleanly, you could use a scrapper like you use for your car windshield to scrap it off or spray with rubbing alcohol. Alcohol is a solvent, so it would get off anything that doesn't peel off, and it would leave your windows perfectly clean. I use alcohol to clean all my windows, mirrors, and decorative glass.
White glue on your glass?Totally unneccessary. Paint your glass with a paste of powdered cleaner like ajax. This is a common way of decorating your winter windows since at least the 1950s.
The only 1 I would even consider doing is the rolling basket! The rest honestly didn’t appeal to me & imo were a waste of time & materials. Sorry 🤷🏻♀️
Finally some new DIYS mixed in. Thanks for doing that. Love the wood disc bowl😊
Love the night lights. ❤
Loved everything, my fav is the blue napkins with birds. I would love to make cards with those napkins 💜
They're all new!!!! Fantastic!!!! Finally!!! Thankfully!!!! 😅😅
Love the last project. Very pretty

Great tips! I really needed the idea of hanging baskets on the wall for storage!

Brilliant ideas.
I luv all of them
Great ideals
This is awesome
I think i would disasseble the glass from the table & put the rattan umder the glass
I would, too. One sticky spill and all your work is ruined.
FYI modpog glue is the same as 1 cup Elmer's glue 1/2 cup water
what does the fabric softener do with the paint?
It keeps the paint flexible and the paint won't crack. This keeps the rug soft to the touch.
And I also think that when walking across it, it can give off a nice scent. At least that's what I think I'm my head lol

Nice ideas...😅😅😅😮😮😮❤
Couldn’t find a tidier looking belt?

Can also cut them in half and glue them down and use them as frogs to put flowers in

I would use a razor scraper to remove the glue from the window and the clean it with alcohol.

Some of these are a complete stretch…some look cheesy and a waste of money.
Just use a scraper blade. I made fake gallery glass using glue, paints and it has been on my front door side glass panels for years.
I have a question: Does the glue get sticky in the summer if you live in a very humid area in summer?
These are all very pretty, but I wonder how much $ it cost in the end.
What company makes that blue and white napkin?
❤❤❤
Where do I get the wood slices?
Amazon sells them. Also, Walmart has the bigger ones, not sure about the tiny ones though. They're way more expensive at Walmart, just a FYI.
Nice of you to credit the original creators whose videos you took.
"Epoxy pen holder"? Looks more like foam. Where on Amazon?
Where is this mentioned in the video? Let's see if we can find it for you.
Most of these projects are just dust catchers.
Yeah and after a while the glue get yellow.
Ooooo. Oh so tacky. Many of these belong in the grade school classrooms and not my home. They are the good from far but far from good projects.
That's caning and not rattan.

Unimpressed. And if I had a dollar for every time I heard the word “grab”…
😂😂😂
🤣and if i had a dollar for every time I heard "I'm gonna"...
