I'm using you guys for my shirts from now on just because of how well explained this video was. A lot of my concerns and questions were answered. Thank you.
My concern with the differences is im wondering which is effected more after wash like i know some shirts get cracks in the print im just wondering which will last longer and be in the best quality after washings
If done correctly, both screen printing and digital printing should last for many, many washes. In digital printing, the cracking that you're referring to is actually a sign that the t-shirt was not pretreated or cured properly and you may have experienced this because the process can be a little temperamental. I'd recommend finding a printer with great customer service for some peace of mind, and that's where we come in.
I ordered 60 T-shirts for a 2 color logo job and some text. I was charged for screen printing setup fee of about 90 dollars. Yesterday I received an email from the printer telling me I can get the same job done, but with the DTG method for the amount of time, I need it in. I gave them the ok. Later I realized there was no mention of the setup fee refunded back to me. I should be asking for a refund for the setup fee right?
Hi Ivy! Well, UberPrints was founded back in 2005 at the very beginning of the advent of t-shirt digital printing. We learn more every year about how to make better t-shirts so that we can pass that quality on to the orders we deliver.
Man, I wanted to find some info about liphography and there's a video with good editing, nice b-rolls, a guy who knows how to talk and it doesn't sound like corporate shit. Now I want to find out more about you and order some t-shirts🌚
Digitally printed t-shirts should last for many, many washes just like any screen printed shirts. We use the latest and greatest in digital printing technology which helps ensure the most durable prints possible.
Even when you upload your own image, everything in this video still applies. Our art department is fully capable of preparing uploaded images for both screen and digital printing. Screen printing may just require some simplification depending on how complex it is.
What digital machines do you recommend? What if someone wants to order a lot of shirts and prefers it to be digital, does it become too expensive to be worth it? I see you have a lot of digital printers, are those models designed for mass production/printing?
Some customers prefer digital printing because of the fast production time and the ease of reproducing photographic images. You just won't see the bulk discounts that screen printing offers at larger quantities. It comes down to what you're trying to achieve and for some, digital printing makes more sense despite a larger order size.
Digital printing can do a better job of reproducing really tiny details, but you'll likely save a ton of money with screen printing if it's more than 12 pieces. If the minute details of your design are important, digital printing might be the better option.
Great question! Digital printing takes fewer steps to set up, but doesn't offer much of a bulk discount because it takes just as much work to print the last as it does the first. Screen printing requires more work to set up, but you get much larger bulk discounts because production gets more and more efficient as you print more. So screen printing is cheaper for bulk orders, but you'll find that digital printing is much cheaper for smaller orders.

Thank you bro , very educative
Great video, thanks for the detail.
If its on ripstop polyester or nylon , and to be outside covering a tent, so subject to rain, will screenprinting be a good way?
how you do dry the tshirt???????
I’ve ordered a lot of shirts from Uber prints and they crack and don’t last long at all. What keeps the logo last long?
can it print off with a towel of 100% cotton material?
Great video and information, thanks
If i want to use my t shirt for a longer time and washed it many times wich should i use ?
Which one can you wash? I bought one with a picture on it from my camera roll and I’m scared to wash it or even stain it.
If you ordered from us, you can wash either one of them! We generally recommend washing inside-out on cold.
whats the name of printing style on your blue shirt youre wearing ?
The shirt I'm wearing was actually digitally printed and is the Jersey T-Shirt by Bella Canvas. Great question!
Hi there.. what classes did you take to have a digital printing business? thank you

You don’t go to class for this. You just take the risks and just do it.

Thank you so much!
Hey, what about if it’s one colour but very detailed. Will digital make the image come out with all the details?
Digital printing can do a better job of reproducing really tiny details, but you'll likely save a ton of money with screen printing if it's more than 12 pieces. If the minute details of your design are important, digital printing might be the better option.

Why is screen printing cheaper than digital if digital requires less steps/man power?
