Summary: retinol is an over-the-counter retinoid that can help improve acne, wrinkles and pigmentation when used long term. This product contains 0.3%, higher than the 0.025% needed to be effective. It contains peptides which can help smooth skin and is fragrance free. It can cause initial irritation as skin before accustomed. She suggests using it over a moisturizer on a clean dry face in the evening, on an every other day basis until tolerated. The skin on the neck, eyes and orffices should be avoided.

I bought this basic $20 retinal cream on amazon, been using it alone with grape seed oil/ hemp seed oil cleansing.
Literally just these two items ( and sunscreen)
My face was S H I T before this. I literally just started this routine on Wednesday and my skin and scars (I have cystic acne and deep scars on my cheeks) look much less rough and my skin is so soft
Anyone that has bad skin: try my combo! I used to use 4+ products and that only effed up my skin

Hi Dr Dray, Thank you for this review. I am a dual Canadian/British citizen so I am used to this brand. I am currently in Florida and just picked this up in Walgreens in July. I have sensitive skin + rosacea, and can not tolerate most retinol products. I have been using this once per week for about 3 weeks and so far have had no reaction. I am happy to find this product and plan to gradually use it more than once per week. I also have found great results with this brand’s cica-rescue skin paste at night if my skin becomes particularly reddish during the day. Thanks for the tips on applying retinol!!

I'm very wary of using retinol products because I have very fair and sensitive skin but I have decided to take your advice about using vaseline...so far, so good!
