RARE VISITOR! Ethiopian Airlines A350-900 at Calgary Airport!

- A couple weeks ago, this Ethiopian Airlines A350 paid a visit to Calgary, operating a charter flight bringing in refugees.
This flight started off in Uganda, did a technical stop in Rome, flew here, and then sat for about 19 hours for crew rest before heading back to Ethiopia.
Ethiopian Airlines is a super uncommon sight for us, and about two weeks after this visit, a second A350 showed up doing the same thing.
African airlines in general, aside from Egyptair last year, are exceptionally rare here, so I filmed bit of both visits and combined them into this. Enjoy the video!

That was awesome to see. Great shot of the cockpit as it taxied off the apron! I've said it before but it needs to be said again, this channel is highly underrated.

Great to learn the story of this... I flew through Calgary on June 19th and saw one parked.
What a gorgeous airplane. wish there were Canadian companies flying the A350.
I was coming into Calgary from SFO, and saw the second A350, and was so shocked to see an A350 in YYC, having come off a Qatar Airways A350!

Nice video...Yeah for the Toronto route, Rome is also used as the technical stop due to the high altitude of Addis Ababa.

It has that powerful mark " Adwa" The Airbus A350 cockpit window looks like a fashionable eye shade. The A350 is in its own class when compared to the 787 Dreamliner.
Hey i remember taking a dash 8 flight from edmonton to calgary coming back from toronto and on my way to the gate i saw the ethiopan a350! And now that i see it in the video its in a different spot than it was before….

alex cyyyc my home and yours speaking of yyc a air canada a330-300 on 7/6/24 was having a good flight till it was 8 min into the flight it did a squak 7700 and diverted back to yyz just some news

No, unless it was a diversion on a flight to LAX or SFO. YYC has had quite a few medical emergency diversions over the years by airlines that overfly Canada to/from the U.S. west coast.

No we paid for it as taxpayers, the government is counting on it causing civil unrest and using that to take the last of our freedoms.
